I had been trying out the ProV1x and wanted to order it so I just ordered it with 5 dashes. I draw a line down that side anyway so it makes no difference to me what was printed.

Mizzy23 you and I can sit around and drink our coffee together. You may like it black but I like cream and sugar, lol!

I put dots on the numbers and a line after the Pro V1X logo. I like to look at nothing but the white side of the ball when I tee it up. Because of the location of the personalization I would be staring at what they print. I don't want that and while I don't usually play the Pro V1 brand not having the number only personalization as an option keeps me from making the purchase. So for me, and this is only my opinion, Titleist lost $150 because of the personalization only.

On a separate note, I don't think you have to have the personalization. I was given the option to. On this website it says you have two options if you want the customization. Unless I didn't see the part where it said you must get customization.

Fellas, I think one reason you have to get them personalized is because Titleist isn't about to let people just order ProV's at buy 3 get 1 free and then turn around and put them on ebay to make a quick $48 fore every $145 they invest. That would be cheapening their brand. They are not stupid. You have to get them personalized for a reason.

As for posting the DD price, I did that ignorantly a few weeks ago when it began because they had the best deal I found by far. Titleist does not what the price posted to protect other Titleist customers, ie Golf Galaxy, Dicks, etc etc. Titleist is pretty picky about advertising their prices too low, which is where Discount Dan has theirs. Trust me, don't waste your time looking else where because DD has them beat. I saved you a bunch of time doing it for you. Just call them up, and they will give you the price.

I totally see both sides to the personalization. Im not a fan of logo over runs but have played them in the past since i could get them cheaper. Its not as bed when the logo is your name or something you created. I am just thankful to Titleist for running the promo and DD for having the great prices!

I just called DD but the price higher than TGW. I wanted #57 & saved good $$. They asked if I was a returning customer, I'm not, so maybe that is the reason for price difference.

How accurate has Titliest been with the estimated shipping dates when ordering through this promotion?

If they ship when they were supposed to, I should receive mine next week but I don't think I'm getting a tracking # since it ships directly from Titliest.

Well I finally decided to go with the promotion because I really wanted the number. I used a short slogan on the ball so hopefully it won't be a distraction. I already have a line and symbol over the number.

FedEx ground. Look for the purple and green truck. I got my order in 11 days from the time I placed it. They shipped from the ball plant in mass and I'm on the east coast as well.

What was the turn around like from Titleist? I got the 3 week notification but a lot of guys are saying they got theirs in about a week? I ordered April 1st or 2nd. Just wondering if they are really 3 weeks out.

I'm waiting for mine too. Ordered mine on 3/21 and the ETA was 3-4 weeks. No biggie though. I have a lot of other balls to burn through. Everything else I've ordered has come on time.

Titleist is getting really good at screwing up my Pro V1x order. They messed up my order last year and this year too. This time, my order arrived last Friday with wrong initials, my club pro looked at the order form, my chosen initials was very clear. I made sure of that after last year's debacle but they still messed up my order. At least they got my requested number correct this time.

Now I gotta to wait even longer for the correct order to arrive. Oh well. At least I have few of last year's balls remaining.

I got [color=#ff0000]TIGER[/color] on my order from two different courses. They never said a word.

Just received mine. Took almost a month from placing the order. Kinda ticked the FedEx guys left it outside the Apt door and not at the club house like everyone else. I'd have been pissed if someone jacked them cause they saw the "Custom Titleist" sticker on the box...
