I went to 2 shows a couple weeks ago. Saw Fun. and then Bronze Radio Return. Fun. always sounds great but the venue left a lot to be desired. This was the 5th or 6th time I've seen them live. Each venue and set list has grown as they have 'hit it big'. This concert was in a 'Festival Setting' which is a glorifed way of saying they built a stage in a huge parking lot and packed it with 10,000 people. Getting drinks took 45 minutes. It was pretty brutal. You could also barely see them as getting close was impossible unless you were there hours beforehand. The band sounded AWESOME though. I highly recommend seeing them live if they come to your town. Even if you don't like the band or are 50/50 on them. They sound great, they perform great and it's hard to not walk away as a fan of them. Plus they play most of their old stuff still (which I think is much better).

Bronze Radio Return was quite the opposite. The venue only held about 150 people and it was in a bar. I felt bad for them because they probably had no way of knowing the stage was going to be so small and that there would be no room for them. Either way it was a fun show. BRR, to my surprise, sounded a lot like their album. They also are maybe the most normal looking bunch of dudes that are trying to hit it in the music industry. None of them have that 'rock star' or 'we've been on the road' look. It was a fun concert and they are worth seeing (especially if tickets are $10 like they were here).
