Hole 12: Par 3, 169 Yards | Kirksville Country Club

Hole 18: Par 4 349 Yards| Kirksville Country Club

I have had many a ball wind up in the drink here.

Bunkers might look a little shoddy as they had just recently finished redoing the bunkers and sod surrounding them on all 18 holes.

Worked here all through college! Still one of my favorites and I don’t make it back up there nearly enough to play. Almost aced 12 with a super small kids club when we got to play in the last week of couples night, set up for “goofy golf”. 18 provides great theater for tournaments with everyone watching on the patio and we always got a nice view from inside the pro shop.

Saturday morning round at Yocha Dehe Golf Course in Brooks, CA. Course was in great condition, staff was fantastic and weather was perfect if you don't mind 100+ degree heat before noon.

Here are some pics of my last visit to Trump National in California, these pictures were taken circa 2013 with an iPhone 6. Absolutely stunning course with panoramic views of the Pacific ocean in the backdrop. Played this on a warm December afternoon at an awesome twilight rate of $70. Highly recommend the course to anyone visiting southern California

Yocha is one of my favorite underrated/relatively unknown courses. I don't think it's so much of a gem, but it's usually in great shape and fun to play. Nice pics.

Would agree on all points. I grew-up not too far away and remember the hype around them building the course when I was younger, but not playing golf, and feel I kinda missed out by not playing it sooner. If I still lived closer to there now, it might be the kind of place I tried to play once every month or two during the spring. All the fires in the area have done a number on the surrounding foothills and air quality unfortunately.

About an hour outside Sacramento and an hour and a half away from Oakland. The management team there kept the course in great condition, food was good, and if casinos are your thing you wont be disappointed by the one down the hill.

I played around April, in great shape and a really fun course. I ended up losing 250$ in the casino after. The customer service at the course is top notch and makes the round feel special.

They used to give you a free $20 on a player's card for the casino, which also worked at the gas station (free gas :WTF:).

I would agree with the customer service, it's very good there.

'Loved Dismal River. They have the fastest golf carts on the planet. Lol. They're needed, as the first tees are quite a distance from the clubhouse. The windmill is fun, too. It's the only water hazard on the course, a water hole ~15 ft wide if I recall.

You ain't a kidding. We actually turned around at one point heading out to the White Course on the first day because we were certain we had gone the wrong direction. Nope, we just hadn't driven far enough.

Some shots from this morning at Half Moon Bay golf links ocean course. If you are anywhere near the bay area go play this course!!! There are some decent stay and play packages with the Ritz Carlton on site. The greens were perfect and extremely fast. My only little complaint is 2/3 of the pins were cut on ridges/slopes, making the greens even more difficult.
