Every time I see a tour pro play a 10.5 degree driver I wonder WTF am I doing with a 8.5. I realize it could be bent open to reduce effective loft but it makes me rethink what I am doing.

Thanks for the pics! I actually had the opportunity to play in a charity scramble against Josh and some of his buddies last year. He was a very humble guy. He took time to answer lots of questions and interact with everyone. He also contributed a HUGE amount of tour issue gear (drivers, fairways, and hybrids) as prizes. I was really impressed with him and the way he conducted himself. By the way, his team finished SECOND!

Sounded a bit ungrateful there, "Trigger"! I would have shot the putter if that was what this thread was about. It was about Josh testing and putting the MP-54 in the bag. The Mizuno Tour rep was building the rest of the set and so I shot his driver.

Don't feel too bad; the SLDR driver loft is adjustable so you never know

I wish I had the AoA to justify an 8.5*!

Why does he have a cross in the sweet spot that isn't in the center of the sweet spot? Does he have tip weights that caused the true sweet spot to shift slightly to the heel?

I played quite a bit of golf with Josh growing up in KY and its great to see him out there playing so well. I can vouch he is one of the most down to earth nice guys you will meet.
Great looking 54s as well.....might look into dumping my 63s sometime soon.
