They said they're staying on as long as the guys are playing. Not sure what that means for the LPGA.

I see that Michelley shot +3 with 32 putts. What's the over/under on how much longer she sticks with this current putting style. I mean a change is inevitable. It's like, so obvious that she has a mental block when putting and the bending over thing worked for a time because it temporarily distracted her from her usual mental issues. But now that it has become old hat it's not working anymore. Time to think of a new weird gimmick.

A friend and I played Petroleum on Sunday when a few of them were playing practice rounds. Christina was practicing in the short game area. We chatted with her and basically she figured it was in Edmonton so what the hell. She lives in Arkansas now but is from Edmonton and has family here. Played junior golf during the same time I did. She was always decent but never a dominating player. My friend also spoke to Anna Young. She's won a bunch of Am stuff in Saskatchewan and seems like she might turn out to be a player.

I know it looks positively stupid, but the truth is she is currently putting better than she has in a couple of years. Let's face it, as far as professional standards go, she is a below average putter, and I doubt that will ever change no matter what she tries. She is going to still have poor days, but in general she has improved with her table-top stance.

Lexi managed 25 putts today.

At least Cristie can hang in there with Inbee when paired together the first two days. Too many top Americans have wilted recently in Inbee's presence.

Interesting that Meg Mallon talked about how she didn't want to give 5-6 birdies as being one of the reasons she picked Michelle Wie. Well through 2 rounds of the Canadien Womens Open Michelle made exactly 1 birdie total!

And I'm not picking on Wie because I actually would like to see her turn her game around because I think it would really be good for the LPGA. It's more a criticism of what Meg said and the fact that no one in the media questioned it. I know several on this board brought it up. Just like no one in the media, or on Golf Channel, is going to question Annika's role in the fiasco of conceding the putt to Paula C. at the Solheim Cup.

Not surprised. I haven't been there this year, but Mayfair's greens are usually very smooth and not all that difficult.

I expected a lot of the players who played in the Solheim cup would be exhausted physically and mentally and play poorly this week. But most of them have done pretty good so far. S Lewis WD probably due to exhaustion more than "illness".

No sign of Jennifer Johnson. Thought maybe after not being picked for the USA team she would be playing here.
