Have not rolled the putter but trying to make two squares sound like a revolution compared to two balls... seems like an over sell.

The Smart Square insert is only made of copolymer unlike the Type 50 which has both copolymer and copper-infused aluminum. This gives the Smart Square a slightly firmer feel.

A double bend in the center shaft model? Most of the other CS models I've seen (whether it be mallet or blade style) have always been straight in, no bend in the shaft. Any particular reason?

My favorite putter of all time (other then my current one) was the Never Compromise Voodoo center shaft, which was also a double bend. Maybe it's a Cleveland thing.

I have to say that it looks much better with the matte black shaft. Not a super stroke guy, but throw a black iomic on it and it would be pretty sweet. Can't see anything knocking out my Classic #3 anytime soon, but if I ever get the mallet bug again...

It looks better center shafted, but I think a lot of people that game mallets prefer a center line for alignment.

I think it would look sharp & provide better alignment if you added a red center line to the white boxes.

I actually really like the putter and I like the ball markers too. Cleveland is really pumping out some great gear right now. I love my 588 TT irons, 588 RTX wedges and the XL Custom driver is really HOT. Now, Cleveland, offer me an adjustable fairway wood and lose the ultra lightweight fairway wood shafts or offer a more comprehensive custom shaft menu.

There seems to be a lot of haters, but I think it looks much sharper than the two-ball. Whether it's original or works remains to be seen, but I appreciate the attempts at innovation in an area they aren't well-known for despite making a high quality putter for the buck.

You never know. I didn't know I could putt well with a #8 since all my life I've been using mallets...so this square putter might be worth a look into. After all, if 2 white round circles work, why not 2 squares?
