They are doing their job that's for sure. Heck I've hit the thing and can't wait to get one to play around with. Actually I'm looking forward to both Bertha's as I have no idea which I like more kind of like the irons. Apex pro's are sweet sticks but the Apex are just so good as well. Wish I hit the the lotto and could buy both haha.

Is the gravity plug supposed to lay horizontal inside the club?

Why not just put another 2 weight plug positions on the sole, a 20g and a 1g. One near the club face and another at the back of the sole and have that as the way of changing the CG.

not sure but possibly. But I would never ask. The guys at Callaway are good people and putting them on the spot by asking for handouts would be a no go for me.

I always like to count how many posts after the initial viewing the complaints about the color scheme, alignment mark, and technology adjustment methodology start up. That and all the absolute conclusions of whether it is a good performer. Never ceases to amaze me all the conclusions that can be drawn from a picture often times weeks before anyone has remotely touched the product let alone played with an actual piece.. Great Fun....

TMaG has done a good job of promoting moving the COG forward with where they position their sliding weight, and the BB Alpha validates that to some extent with where the Gravity Core port and draw/fade bias weights are located. So, it will be interesting an dance by Calllaway to see exactly how they position the BB against the TMaG SLDR given the contradiction within their own product family. My guess is they will say that different people need different types of clubs to fit their games properly which is true.

Will Callaway have multiple Gravity Core options? Now that the consumer has unprecedented access to the inside of the cub, will people try to insert different materials into the tube to change the characteristics like corking a bat in baseball? I will leave that one up to the Enginerds to figure out.

Both drivers look very interesting, and with the amount of adjustability, getting properly fit has dramatically increased in importance. Callaway, I hope you are investing as much in training your certified fitters as you are in new club technology. If so, it could be a big win for the consumer and Callaway in 2014.
