I am trying to complete a list of all Ping major putter wins.

Can anyone help me what putters the following players used to win?

Paul Azinger 1983 PGA Championship

Seve Ballesteros 1979 Open Championship

Seve Ballesteros 1984 Open Championship

Seve Ballesteros 1988 Open Championship

Ian Baker-Finch 1991 Open Championship

Good luck with your list. Per PING they have had 47 major champions use their putter in victory.

tom watson used ping for most of his . greg norman and mark omera too.

Yes, he has 2 full rows of putters in the golf vault. All of them Ansers.

I have been in the vault four times. I have a complete list of all major wins by ping putters. Just trying to find out what putters were used for each win.

Another major to be won by a Ping putter. Kaymer's a man of precision and he uses a Karsten Anser. Ping should keep making those $100. putters. Best deal out there.

Believe Floyd used a Zebra for his 82 win.

So that's 2 majors for Ping this year and a duck egg for SC. I wonder how the Scotty fanboys will justify their hefty purchases in light of this? The Nicklaus fan boys say majors are all that matter, so anyone who says Jack is goat must agree that Pings are better putters than Scottys right now.

I think the total is now 56 major putter wins for Ping.

I guess I do. Have a big collection of ping products. Have at least one iron of every ping model ever made. 50 putters and many more items

+1 on calling them. I would imagine they have this info easily accessible to them and would be glad to get it for you.

Hal Sutton won the 1983 PGA Championship

Azinger won in 1993 with an Anser according to this thread. Manganese? Bronze? Probably a typical Anser for that period.

no I have seen him use a Tad Moore, A Hiro Matsumoto, a Plop....sure there sre others

I watched the Shell's WWOG episode from 1997 where he faced Kite in Pedrena. He was knocking it ALL over the course and seemed to be using a STX type putter.
