Circa 62 No 2 (High Toe Putter) Replacement

So I've been gaming the Circa 62 No 2 for a while now and it's starting to rust and tbh I can not put with any other putter.

I was wondering if there is any updated putters, tour issue, stock, etc. that closely match the design of this putter?

I know the Bettinardi No 8 is a close match but I was wondering if there are any other similar putters?

Send it in for a refinish? Lots of good refinishers out there can make it good as new for less than a cost of a new putter.

Absolutely.

Get it re-done and make sure you post a before and after!

There are lots of great refinishers you'll learn about on here, but I sent a No. 3 to Continental Golf in Raleigh, NC a while back and it came back looking brand new. They are already a great price for the work they do and usually run a deal for WRX members to make it even better.

Yeah buy yourself another 62 on eBay, send your current one in for refinish, $250 odd later you have an "as new" 62 and also a backup....

If it's just surface rust and it's not pitting, it's a very simple DIY.

Getting the finish to look completely new, not so much, but you can get rid of the rust without messing with the integrity of the putter pretty simply. PM me if you wish.

If you want an updated version, try to find a Scotty Cameron California Hollywood. Won't be easy to find new, but I'm sure there are plenty of used ones around.

That said, you won't beat the 62. I'd echo others that suggest a refinish.

Going with the restoration! More I thought about it ... Why change putters when I can get it looking better than the original. Wish I could get a Scotty Cameron Putter Ring 2nd hand but no big deal.

i have an Asian Spec Circa #3 i was ready to send and forgot about it once the hurricane hit down here. i need to get with him again on sending it in. only thing is i hate to lose the gun blue finish it has on it now. yours came out great.

Get the original version (at least who originally made that kind of design). Get a TP Mills putter (now by David Mills). David has carried on TP's great work and makes outstanding putters! I have a couple and love them and love the feel.

Which Mills model most directly compares to the circa line in your opinion?

Rust is not a band thing if the putter is working? like others have said there are lot's of refinishing options.
