Low launch/low spin shafts are a thing of the past for me. I'm starting to gravitate towards the realm of mid launch shafts. Haven't started testing anything yet but I'll be doing so this winter. Off the top of my head here's what I'm thinking..

What am I missing? Any musts?

I'm not sure if I'll get around to trying all of these as I'm smack dab in the middle of Gods Country without much access, but I'd like to hear your favorites to narrow my search.

Matrix Red Tie. I've played this in driver, fwy woods, hybrids, etc.

It never disappoints.

You can buy them new on Ebay for $30-$50.

Red Tie is really solid. The only issue is that it feels really boardy due to a super stout handle section. I've heard people claim it actually feels stiffer than the Black Tie. I've hit it once I think in a demo 2016 M2. It felt great but I wasn't really paying attention to numbers, although it did feel a tad firm (Ref: I'm 98-100 that has a decent amount of lag/quick transition).

I would also add the Fuji Pro to the list, personally. But you already have an impressive stable of shafts to try lol

You'd probably like Fuji Pro then for sure! Feels quite smooth but still keeps excessive spin under control.

I'm doing the same as you, moving away from the low launch/spin, to more mid profiles. One thing I'm noticing is needing to go up in flex to keep the spin down. I recently picked up an attas G7 6x and I'm loving the feel and flight. Also acquiring the gogo to give it a try as well. Take a look at the attas line.

I have zero experience with Attas. Going to start doing some research! Appreciate it.

S+/Blueboard fan here. Also really liked a 6.1 Motore in an old driver.

Save yourself some cash and get an Aerotech Powercoil HP 65

Really liking the Rogue Max I got in my Epic driver. Original Rogue Max is a low launch, but the newer model is mid launch.

Try the Project x lz, I bought a couple hand crafted off the bay for 39 bucks new and absolutely love it. It is 15-20 yards longer for me than the px hzrdus black, obviously not the right fit but this thing has been great and for that money it is a no brainer.

Tensei Orange V2 - love the low spin but mid launch it provides. Sounds like Copperhead is very similar but I love my V2.

Just to clarify, Copperhead TX is very similar. The other profile/flexes are higher launch and spin.

In order of my experiences as far as over all performance:

1) Tensei Blue

2) UST Elements Chrome

3) Red Tie

4) Blueboard

I haven't tried any of the newest of the new offerings though like evenflow, copperhead, etc. They've seemed to all get good reviews.

Matrix RUL 60 and 70 are great mid mid shafts - can find them at a reasonable price too.

I've played both and I found them to be one of the most "stiff" feeling mid/mid shaft I've played. Got no feeling of kick or release with either one.

I have the Aldila Tour Blue and love it. Its been a fairway finder. I had it in a 915d2 10.5 @ 9.75 and hit it great I put it in a 917d3 9.5 dialed down to 8.75 and its PERFECT. I have found that I dont have swing out out my shoes to get it to go somewhere. I recommend it.

That just goes to show you that different folks feel different things depending on their swings. I love the Blueboard best, but, I actually felt the RUL, in 60 at least, more flexible than the Blueboard both in stiff. Using the Blueboard now - just like looking down and seeing that Blueboard logo - inspires confidence.

Hzrdus red in my driver has treated me so well. I have all my hybrids and wood switched over to hzrdus red shafts and they have been the perfect match.

Ive always thought the Blueboard would be a shaft that could fit a lot of people.

I had this in my M2 for about a week. I thought the tip was very soft and was more of a high launch shaft. If I had it tipped a little bit I think I would have liked it. I think the Kiyoshi White would fit the bill better.
