Best unique Bandon Dunes Souvenirs

Anything unique and noteworthy to bring back from Bandon? Could be as cheap as extra scorecards or something bought at the pro shops besides the usual golf shirts, jackets, hats, etc..

At the starter shack for each course is a bin with scorecards, tees pencils and ball markers. The pencils have the resort name, and the ball markers have the course emblem, and are made of wood. They make nice little souvenirs for those back home and are free. Each starter shack also has waterproof scorecards, which are highly recommended if the weather is even a bit iffy.

The pro shop at each course has items (hats, shirts, etc) logo'ed for that course and not all are available at the main pro shop. If you're shopping, it's worth a look at each of the shops to find what you like before you buy anything.

The resort also has wine produced locally/regionally and labeled exclusively for sale there. Oregon has a pretty decent rep for wines, especially pinot, so it's not just a nice label.

Falling in with duffer, a shirt or hat from Tony's Crab Shack would certainly be unique almost anywhere else in the world.

I like the Seamus markers and bag tags. Each course has different ones, sometimes a couple versions, and you can have them stamped to help remember the trip.

Bucket hat is one item I'm glad I bought there as well. Have used it a few times back home since getting it.

Depending on your setup at home, I'm a fan of buying a flag from the noticeable courses I've played. If I'm at a resort, usually just snag the namesake course, rather than dropping $40 on 5, soon to be 6 flags.

At $50 for the bag tag, i couldnt pull the trigger. The clearance racks though are where it’s at. Each pro shop has its own. Scored a BD FJ short sleeve wind jacket for $40, half off retail

Clearance racks were surprisingly lacking when I went there. Lots of stuff but nothing that I really would have worn otherwise. I wanted items that I know I'd keep for a long time, and copper holds up better than polos and jackets over time for me.

Forgot to mention the divot tools are also unique to each course. Bonus: they actually work really well at repairing divots.

They have also recently started selling greens books made by StrackALine.

At the BD pro shop, I bought a Fairway and Greene lined wool sweater for 1/2 price from the clearance rack because the inside label at the collar had become unstitched! A very nice dark green. Good way to save $75.

Picked up lots of swag from Bandon over the years, but my #1 fave is my McKenzie Walker golf bag with the Pacific Dunes logo.

Thanks everyone for sharing. These shops are stock full and you could go broke if you don't control yourself. Ended up purchasing these items. Some were on clearance, some not. Had to get the copper personalized Old Mac bag tag though!.

I looked everywhere for the ghost tree while I was there, as that symbol moved me more than any other on property. But there was only one mesh-flat brim hat that I couldn’t do. That was March, are there new items? I’d consider ordering online if they’re posted.

@philsRHman Old Mac pro shop had tshirts, club head covers, hats, and bag tags with the ghost tree logo last week. You can try calling them and inquire to see if they can send you pictures of those items in hopes you might like them and purchase even if they aren't online.

I saw two different ghost tree hats and a couple of tops with that logo at OM this past weekend. The hats are really nice, but they didn't fit me.

We have a few trees on my commute that remind me of the ghost and it just brings me right back. Amazing how easily I can day dream about Old Mac.

I'm assuming the pro shops on site have more available than what's online? I regret not buying a head cover or putter cover but the stuff online is lacking..

I spent a fortune on my trip. Bought a polo from each pro shop. Bought a hat from each pro shop. Bought the respective flag for each course. Bought the little copper ballmakers from Dunes and Old Mac with my initials on the back.

Even had to buy a belt at Old Mac because I forgot a belt for my trip.

Yes, I found the pro shops definitely have more than what's available online.

Guess that cements my decision.. I need to do a solo trip this coming winter. I don't think it's fair to my (back-up) driver to be cover-less for more than a year, am I right? That would be completely insane and unreasonable.

Over $100 Canadian monopoly dollars for this but I can't resist. Too pretty...

@2putttom can you clarify what you are saying or are you just joking? I bought a poker chip whilst there. I'll have to go find it as I can't remember if it was a Bandon or Pacific.... I think it was Bandon.

I worked the property from 07'- 15' I remember being down in the bunker and there were samples of clay poker chips left for promotional purposes. I asked if they were gonna be considered for potential sale items and the manager said it is on the agenda for next weeks meeting. Two days later I received transfer notice to Bodega.

I will try and post a picture later; but years ago, you would get a little pewter bell when teeing off at Pacific Dunes.
