Golf on the toilet?

Come on...I can't be the only one here who's gone digital. I still get Golf Digest AND Golf Mag in the mail, but I literally don't read them anymore other than the occasional WITB. Seriously, what can they tell me that my laptop + wrx can't tell me?

I'm still an old school paper kinda guy.. probably due to me being financially limited at the moment and not having a tablet. Not going to take my lap top in there and be flagged like George and his "french impressionist" library book

I totally thought this was going to be a whole different topic. I often day dream about setting up a mini putting green with an automatic ball retriever next to the can.

I can still read the magazine if I drop it in toilet.

I don't get Golf magazine or Golf Digest anymore. Too many ads, the tips don't really help (they've been there for decades and if they did help we'd be all single digits). I don't even read the Hot List either.

I stopped my subscription to Golf Digest in 1999, I don't miss it. The internet provides more than enough information for me.

bought a 3 year subscription 2.5 years ago, just waiting for it to lapse now. Won't be renewing, we get such better quality info here, and the ads drive me crazy.

Don't they have a lot of exclusive content that is in the magazine only? Not saying that would be worth getting the magazine.

In,on so long as in the geneal vacinity I'm happy---kind of like my approach shots. WXR provides at least 5 times the useful information than you can get from the golf mags.

Agreed...never understood the facination of reading while on the toilet. I go in, do my business and get out.

I do still however get Golf Digest subscription (hard copies)...I bought my subscription for VERY cheap and they keep coming. I rarely have the time to read them now that I don't travel as much as I used to (business travel).

Golfweek only. Like the college/am stuff and the occasional instruction/coach pieces are very good. Still like it in print, but wish they had kept the old oversize format.

I get more from the videos from Monte, Martin Chuck and the couple I've seen from iteach than decades of reading golf magazines. If only I knew (or someone helping me then knew) way back what I know now.

That begs the question: do you use single, double, or triple ply? Which one is more forgiving?

I still get them both...on my iPad.

(Not sure I could tolerate the print version anymore.)

I like the 3 piece model. Much less skidding because of the higher MOI. Putting a little extra spin on it is pleasant as well. Still ends up in the water though.

LOL! Didn't even noticed the frosted tips. Kind of makes sense...never had my hair color altered in anyway and I've always worn underwear.

Ok. Laugh out loud time. I caught the laugh half way out. It turned into more of a stifled sneeze sound. Customers AND employees stopped and looked at me....
