My Old Master W802 has a nice old lustre, patina and character. Plenty of battle scars on the old girl.

 

Also shown in the 3rd photo with my polished version of the same putter. Both gorgeous.

And in the last photo my 2x Old Masters, Wilson 8802 and Yonex Super ADX Tour Forged show off their bottoms.

Below is the putter I currently use and have been playing almost exclusively for over 25 years (I'll be 50 in a few months.) I pulled this from a set given to my dad by his brother-in-law and it was the first I'd ever used when I started playing at age 25. To date I have not found anything that rolls it better!

 

Apparently this came from my uncle's brother, Bob Ross, who was a long time head pro at Pine Tree in FL, was one of the founding partners of Boone Valley in MO, and started as an assistant under Claude Harmon at Winged Foot. Bob even played in a much heralded exhibition match with Chick Evans, Sam Snead, and some young-gun named Jack Nicklaus at the grand opening of Urbana Country Club in Ohio in 1956...but I digress. http://www.urbanacitizen.com/sports/22340/urbana-country-club-to-commemorate-nicklaus-snead-match

 

She's an Arnold Palmer AP30R. I don't think it's anything special to anyone except me...lol! I had to cut it down almost 2 inches to it's current 34" and I've replaced the original leather grip many times. It now has an IOMIC mid size that I love.

 

I've tried others over the years but always go back to this one, especially when the greens are fast and true. I think the shaft has something to do with why I like it as I lag better with this than any other. You do have to concentrate on the short ones though! She's won me a ton of cash over the years and was very instrumental in securing my club championship this year with a 17 foot birdie on the final hole!

I'm on the lookout for one locally to add to my collection (not holding my breath though. Like hens teeth over here).

Well thank you sir! I like a lot of the old blades, and have a couple of 8802s and another Palmer Original, but the AP30R has a slightly shorter blade length and less offset which I prefer. It is very responsive and definitely helps groove the stroke.

 

I have second one that is identical except that it has a small sight line on the top. That one is with a set I keep in FL and works equally as well.
