Sepp Straka and Martin Laird have been doing OK lately, not sure if this venue/format suits them but wouldn't be surprised to see either get a win.

The NLU podcast with Jason Bohn was hilarious, the fact that his coach was concerned about eligibility over a million dollar payout is comical.

Smart move by Duval, play a tournament where you can pick up after you can't make bogey.
    Still in last though.

David Lingmerth leading and, like last week's winner, he still won't make the FedEX Cup Playoffs with a win.

I like the stableford system. I wish a main tournament would use it rather than an alternate event, though.

David Duval really needs to stick with his GC gig. Tony Romo and Steph Curry are more competitive in golf at this point.

    Didn't LIngmerth win PGA tournament?

He actually won the Memorial in 2015 but has fallen off the cliff since (won't have enough FedEx points to crack the top 125 in the fedex standings this year even if he wins the Barracuda)..

In fairness to him, how many reps does he usually get? I don't think he's played all that much and it's no surprise he's rusty and knocking it all over the course. I give him credit for going out there and trying, but really, he should play some Korn Ferry events.

He played the KF event at TPC Colorado two weeks ago.

Didn't they already clinch their 2019/2020 PGA Tour cards? Both Redman and Morikawa are at 400+ FEC equivalent points to earn their tour card. Done deal correct?

It was clear at The Open he's playing with some sort of injury.

It's my home course. It's crazy how easy they make this difficult (for most mortals, anyway) course look.

On another note: The rain was crazy last night! My yard is all F'ed up!

John Daly makes his first PGA Tour cut since last year in the Dominican Republic.

Hosung Choi misses another cut. David Duval posts a score of 1 point in the second round and does not finish last.

Announcers on TV talking about Golf trending to Bomb & Gouge while taking shot making out of the game. I've said that all along but the top guys on the tour got killer short games as well....they can get it up and down from anywhere....

Collin Morikawa now in third, just four points back. A win gets him the full two year exemption and would put him into the FedEX Cup Playoffs. A win would put him just inside the Top 50 in the FedEX Cup standings. Not bad for six events.
