Pearl Golf Ball (Pro X = OG Ksig 4)

Now we can buy rebadged original Ksig 4 from [Pearl Golf](https://pearlgolf.com/collections/golf-balls "Pearl Golf") as low as $27.51/dz

 

According to the [article](https://Not allowed because of spam.com/can-you-still-buy-the-original-4-piece-k-sig-golf-ball/ "article") I read, they are the same. INDEED.

 

From the color of mantle and core, IMO, Pro Soft looks like outdated ProV1.

Yeah, there were some comments about that in the bigger KSig thread the other day. Certainly looks like it is same ball - too many coincidences for it not to be.

The point was, it was a good ball for a great price. Now it's a good ball at an average price. The OG K-Sig as too good of a deal to last. The new ball is a disaster. Didn't like the 3 piece either.

Yep the world of golf is now awash in very, very good balls in the give or take $30 a dozen price bracket. Which is a great thing for us golfers. But so many of them are so good (compared to the crap we were using for balls 20 years ago) that it's hard for any one to distinguish itself on performance.

It was a great ball at a great price. Got this ProV1 player to switch. Still sitting on 6 dozen for when I have my A game.

Pro X & Pro are gone but Soft & Soft X still around. The 4 piece Soft X mantle and core look the same as Pro X (OG Ksig 4). Perhaps the cover and dimples is different?

Same 360 dimple pattern and thermoset cast urethane cover given that it was made by Nassau. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck...

 

There is a reason why Nassau stopped making the OG KSig for Costco and I assume it is the same reason why these balls are no longer on the Pearl website. Also, the Pearl Soft balls are made in a different factory which is likely the reason why they are still available.

I’ll stick with good. There is no way the QC on this ball is as tight as Titleist or Bridgestone. But yes,most of the balls performed great. > @gioreeko said:
