Maybe I have looked at 009 for too long. That Tour Select looks really funky to me. Does the production Newport look at this too?

personally, i love the golo that is pictured with the double bend shaft.

i like the shaft insertion point much better than the retail models which favors more toward the heel side.

the + models still look hideous to me

The Oil Can or Bronze 009 and the GoLo M3 are two of the best putters I have ever seen. Really wish they would bring the M3 to retail for us regular folks!

I have not liked Cameron's OTR Newports for a few lines now. The Studio Select The Select, and now the silver Selects all have that look. The cavity looks a bit narrower, and the bumpers and shoulder, particularly the toe looks longer.

Something about the Concept 2 I really really like. Maybe it's the 'ears' in the cavity. Kind of a classic look to it. I think a simple Titleist script in the cavity would fit that look better than the bombs IMO. Especially since that look will be on the silver Selects.

The silver Notch back is great looking. May need to send mine into the spa for that look. Anyone have a Notch back they can put next to a SB+ and post a photo. I don't think the SB+ is much wider but we will see. Anyone know the specs? Thanks

What boggled my mind is I used to own a production Select Newport. And I loved it! Now, having had DH89 for a while, I look at production Newport and it looks just funny to me. Kind distorted. The heel is not nicely rounded and bumpers are weird. Anyway ...

Scotty's new (+) series. Some of them have already been released as special releases, but I believe some of them are coming to retail as well. Why bring those to retail and not the M3???

I opened up a link to the New Newport Select from this thread. Open up the link and look at it side by side. The different finishes can hide the lines though. Also the angles are slightly different making the 009 look a tad slimmer.
