Yikes man! Not trying to be the downer but you cut it down to 33" and are adding this 125 gram grip ? The putter is going to feel so light and is probably going to be a B0 swingweight. Becareful but good luck!

The 900 Forged will not make it until the the 718's come out!! They feel really good and are very forgiving, but all they want to do is go left! The length of the blade is way too long for me, I don't think I could ever get over it? I really don't know what to do until the 718's come out?

Did you have the lie angle checked? One of the guys I work with got a set. Ordered them STD and they came in way upright.

 

Had the lies adjusted today and moved the ball back in my stance! Game changer! Played the front 9 tonight after a tournament, had the course to myself. Played 3-5 balls on all nine. I can't wait to play tomorrow!

Hahah, you so smart! I used to play that grip, I loved it at first but I just kept closing my putter face and eventually went to a Flat cat, which I loved, but then went and bought me that Scotty, which I'm rocking by the way!

 

I always assume that Drew has "quiet hours" enabled so I just text whenever, lol. If he doesn't have quiet hours, he must have our convo on mute because I text like crazy sometimes at 4-6AM, lol.

The course was beautiful! The weather was 90* and the wind was out of the south at 20+ mph. The greens were running faster then they were at the Ryder Cup and the rough was 1.5" longer. Mis the fairway by a yard and you couldn't see your ball until you were on top of it. I had a chip on number #9 up hill off the green by about 6 yards and the flag was about 6 yards on with green sloping from back to front. Easy up and down and I was thinking chip in all the way. I hit what I thought was the perfect chip and it rolled like 15' past the hole so It left me this nasty fast down hiller. Hit the lip and and shot it 10' right. So I walk away with bogey. We only got 13 holes because of the thunder storm that rolled. Played the 3 par 3's in 2 under. The rest of the day was pretty rough.

That's too bad that you only got to play 13. Some of the next 6 holes are the best on the course, I'm especially a fan of #16. Still, glad that you had a good time out there. It's a great course.

Haha! Thanks! The only clubs firmly locked in the bag is the Cleveland wedges. The CF16's I'm using with the Recoils are really solid! Longest clubs I've ever used. 2nd swing is letting me use them until the 718's come in for my fitting. I'm really interested to see what Callaway is going to do with the Apex 18's?

I'm sure I'll be playing a G400 LST as soon as I can find one.

I've bagged a Callaway driver almost exclusively since I was 10 years old but that G400 LST, even with it's hideous appearance, has me intrigued. I hit one at PGA SS and produced some great numbers. I didn't have my driver along to compare though so I did not place an order.

We didn't get an LST demo. Sold very few of those last year so didn't order one. We have a shaft kit coming in that will cover the upgrade shafts. Will try again with the KK Silver.

Rolled the Red #7 yesterday! Made everything, it's absolutely gorgeous. I didn't think I'd like the red , but its money. I would've bought, but I just ordered the #3T hours before. :(

Just walked out of the shop with the red 7s. I had my mind set on the black but the red looks better and same thing, was sinking more putts with the red vs. black

 

Let me know how the 3T goes. It's a good looking putter and if not for the red 7s that was my next choice.

I went straight to the course from PGATSS. I got the Standard G400 9* stock stiff shaft. I really need the LST , but my 90 day playability ended yesterday and they don't know will they will be getting any LST's in.

 

Played two balls with the G and 1 ball with my buddies Epic on every hole I needed Driver on. Hit the first two with the G400 and screamed oh crap what a waste of time and money on this crap. Elevated tee box into a 20 mph cross wind. Big high cut that went absolutely nowhere! Disclaimer it was my first two swings. Every hole got better and better.

 

This thing was just as long as the Epic, but way more forgiving. It really is a fairway finder and straight. I can't wait to play again tonight. Hopefully when the LST comes in I can put them head to head.
