Great! The weather was perfect! 70-85 every day. Perfect for golf and everything in between.

 

It was my first time on a airplane without clubs!

I can't say much. The MP18s might not last much longer. VPCs are calling me.

The whole 18 line looks great, but they didn’t work for me like all mizuno.

 

I do miss the VPC’s. Damn Nike!

I had another fitting on Friday. Shocker right!

 

Drivers: Rogue/SZ , M3/M4 , G400/Max , F8/F8+

 

Going into the fitting I really thought the G400 Max or M4 would be the front runners. My G400 is the most consistent driver I've ever owned. The F8+ was the longest for me.

My gamer will stay for now. But we still have snow on the ground so don't be surprised if you see a F8+ in May or June. :help:

 

Fairway Woods: Same as the drivers, minus Ping

 

Once again I thought the M4 Tour or Rogue was going to win out. Their is absolutely nothing wrong with my gamer so it will stay put for now.

 

Hybrids: I tested the same as the Fairway woods against my 818 H2.

 

M4 and F8 both out performed the 818, but I'm not really sold on either one.

 

Irons: Rogue Pros , P790's , 765's (winners last year) , Black Forged Tec , Epon AF-303

 

Everything I've heard and read, I was expecting on a full TM bag this year. Epon felt the best with the Tec coming in second followed by the 765's. Epon was the shortest of the those 3. 765's had the tightest dispersion, but the Tec was closest to the line.

 

I'm sure you'll see a set of the Black Forged Tec in the bag at some point.

 

Wedges: Will most likely be SM7's Black or the Cobra's 50-54-58

If the 765 had the tightest dispersion, stick with those. In a lot of cases you can shift the center of the dispersion pattern with a small tweak to your lie angles. It’s worth a try anyway.

thanks, that actually sounds pretty in line with me. I'm typically a tweener between most stiff/regs.

Cobra irons look sweet.

80* and the course was packed. So I played the 3 hole practice loop for a couple hours with Pro V1x’s. It’s a Link style course with tight fairways and fast greens. It was 20 - 30 mph wind gusts. I did a lot of chipping with the Kings and they really bite. The F8+ driver with a 12 gram weight up front really perform.

The Tec’s I only hit the 4,5, & 7. Really not much to report on.

Those shoes are awesome. A Minnesotan that has taken their hoing to this level is fun to follow.
