What is the fitting for?

918 irons and try to figure out a hybrid, driving iron, or 5 wood to fill the gap.

I don't blame you. Had a buddy that I played with league at Northfork a year ago and a couple that play in it now. Probably the best league I've played in yet. I always try and get up to play there or at least the 3 hole loop once a month

Stopped at GG today and hit the Ap2's and 3's, wow! Also tried out the new hybrids with the Atmos Blue. Those Atmos are so damn nice!

Yeah, I'd be in. Running out of good weekends to play! I have a trip to play Troy Burne in WI in two weeks so I'll see what I have goin on after that!

You know me, I prefer a small blade, especially out of the rough. It's actually pretty good out of the rough though as long as your lie isn't too gnarly. Out of the first cut at TPC, it's like hitting off of a tee, you could almost call it cheating. The Atmos HB is a great shaft. A PXG rep hit my u65 today and was very impressed. He's currently playing a KBS Prototype in his 0311X but after hitting mine, I wouldn't be surprised if there was an Atmos in it sometime soon.

How did the AP2 & 3 compare to your 770's? I think the Atmos he is referring to is one of the stock options in the new Titleist 818 line of hybrids. I think they are paying attention!

I was hitting the 818's with the Atmos Blue, wow! I just love the Atmos, I can't recall any shaft that I absolutely loved.

Ap2's are beautiful in every way. The Ap3's are not to bad. I would of gotten a mixed set, but I really don't like the look in the bag of a mixed set. So I went Ap3's 4-AW 2* flat with KK 85 stiff. 818 H2 19* with the weight out on the toe. Yes you guessed it Atmos Red HB Stiff.

No I haven't. I'm not a fan of the looks. The 3's look really nice at address. The top line is really nice.

Rocking the Golf Pride Align! I don't know what it is but I really like them. Titleist doesn't have them, so I just got the stock GP and will switch them out this winter.

Now I'm not sure what I'm going to do going forward. For now the XLR8 is back in my 816, might just finish the season that way. Bummer too, I was really loving that G400. Now I'm just irritated and annoyed.

You’ll be fine with the 816. Look at this way next year when the snow melts it will be like you’ll have a new driver and shaft.

Yeah, that's true. I've just got a bad attitude right now. Broke 2 high dollar shafts, been super busy at work, heading back to Mayo for another pretty major procedure shortly, and most likely missing out my annual hunting trip this fall. Sigh... not looking forward to winter. :(

 

I'll get over it, LOL I'm sure that The Wilderness will be awesome. I can't wait, just hope that I hit a few good shots to remember.
