It's finally here. TaylorMade Golf is determined to show the SLDR is their longest driver ever and challenging 20 GolfWRX members to a driver showdown at 4 TaylorMade performance labs throughout the country: TPC Sawgrass, Reynolds Plantation, Dallas The Kingdom at TM HQ in Carlsbad.

 

At stake are not just bragging rights, but up to $5000 at each location. TaylorMade will pay each member $25 for each yard their driver outdrives the SLDR. For each drive the SLDR beats their own driver, TM will ALSO pay them $25 per yard. Distance claims will be backed up by data for all to see.

Here's the basic itinerary for all locations:

Thursday: arrivals and dinner
Friday am: Fitting/SLDR Guarantee at TaylorMade Performance Labs
Friday pm: round of golf
Saturday: golf, lunch and departures

Clubs are in the car awaiting transport to the airport. I might want to get the clothes in there as well!!! To the guys going to Sawgrass, stay away from my cousins!! They may be of legal age but their dad is one mean SOB (he could probably be bought with beer though).
