Been awhile since I've had a Betti in the rotation so I picked this up the other day. I'm usually a plumbers neck guy but I'm kind of diggin' the long flow neck. Putter has a great, consistent feel to it too. My distance control was rock solid with it today.

Been playing with Ray Cook Blue Goose V and Bullseye. I know these are old but I have new ones too that I go through on a rotation. Can't pull out the belly putter though.

Hope to get the cement hands out and have surgeon hands with it.

Picked up this old Scotty since I like the slant neck. Price was very reasonable. The condition is much better than I expected based on the provided pictures. I thought this would be a good restoration candidate. But now I'm not so sure. I'm open to opinions.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Restoration options on this putter have been cancelled. I'm keeping it as-is. I'm going to try some Flitz to clean up the top line some. But the feel is too good to mess with. The sound of the ball coming off the face was so crisp it was amazing. First round produced 14 putts over 9 holes. There was never a 3 putt risk and my speed and distance was great. It would have been lower if I could line up better. I will be swapping out the grip with a Superstroke 2.0. But don't worry purist, I will safely remove and save the Baby T grip just in case I need it again.

The top line/face must be thick. That sound slot is darn near in the middle of the sole haha.

Brought it straight to league night and am in love.

 

It was a dumb thing to do too. I had been putting with a 35" putter with a counter weighted, larger grip, and this one is 33" with regular pistol grip. It was quite an adjustment, but hit 6/9 greens and no 3 jacks, so it was a success.

I recently picked up a Piretti Cortino 1.5 with the Black Onyx finish. This is a new model that recently showed up on their website. Note, I had originally ordered a Cottonwood 2, but changed my mind when I saw this new model was available and was able to edit my order.

 

Specs are 365 grams, 34" long, 74* lie with an Iomic grip.

 

Have rolled it quite a bit on carpet the last few days. It has a heavier weight to it and feels great, I'd classify it in the medium range between soft & firm. The finish is awesome and shows a little "rainbor" coloring when the light hits it at certain angles.

 

Note, the model on the website shows a sight line in the flange. When I called Piretti to see if I could change my order I was told they had the Cortino 1.5 head currently available with a sight dot so I went for it.

 

I'll take it our on the course this weekend to see how it performs.

I just bought a Ping TR 1966 volt release in gold with no sight line.

it looks amazing and is lighter then the current putter I'm using , which an Odyssey Works.

the only negative that iv found with the ping TR putter is that the sound slot makes the pings (ting) a loud ting sound when u putt with it and I'm not a huge fan of, also as a result of the sound slot In my opinion makes the putter almost dead( harder to hit) but in saying that I am comparing to the Odyssey Works .
