This came today, just in time for my rounds this weekend. Remember it from back in the day and it was a beast. Working some gaps out at the top of the bag and the 3 wood has been misbehaving lately. Should match up pretty good to my 905

I gave the G a few months, but in reality the shaft/head combination I had was shorter and spun more than my old Adams. So I put the F12 LS back in the bag and starting testing again. I went for a fitting and ended up with this M2 with a Project X HAZRDUS Yellow and have had a few good rounds.

Any reason you went retail box instead of Ammo Box?

Just picked up the Aldila Rogue Silver 70 off of ebay for my driver. Haven't used it on the course or the range yet but hit into a net this afternoon and it felt so much better than the stock shaft Taylormade used that I've been struggling with for the past couple seasons.

Curious to know - what driver / shaft do you have? I put a rogue silver in my R11 this season and love it. Ball flight is much lower and now I only miss by 1 fairway instead of 2 :)

 

Have the R15 and I was using the speeder57 and I was missing all over the place with it. Occasionally I could get it going but most of the time it was just a crap shoot

Thanks for the heads up. I thought the ammo boxes were used but it appears I was mistaken. In the future I'm definitely going with the ammo boxes...

I love the 2016 tour preferreds. Since they are already the longest ball line I've used, I'll sacrifice a few yds on the driver by using the 2016 TP vs 2016 TPX so I can have a smI dge more spin on my iron shots. I need a tiny bit more spin to offset the M1 irons which reduce spin by a few hundred rpms vs my ping i20s. Plus I like the feeling of the TO on short game shots, it is somewhere between the firmer ProV1X and the marshmallow-esque Chrome soft
