My Srixon ZX7 II has one in the middle too. Must be a new thing. At first I thought I bought a damaged/fake driver but pics on their website showed it too.

Nothing functional, pretty sure it's just part of the face molding/milling/holding process during assembly.

Since the photos, I've run them thru the ultrasonic cleaner with vinegar, and given them a very fine 0000 synthetic wool rub down.  I'll run them back thru the ultrasonic machine with a combo of degreaser and a fine polishing agent.  And then a quick hit on the polishing wheel.  I play golf every single day, so bag chatter doesn't bother me at all.

A few years ago after my wife and I had our first child my Callaway Rep was nice enough to give me a custom Toulon with my daughter’s name and birthday on it. Well last month my wife gave birth to another baby girl so I just needed to make sure I had another putter customized for her.

So my golf season is done for the year stepped in a pot hole last Saturday wile walking my dog, possible torn tendons in my left foot. So my son wanted new irons for next year found a steal. Almost new set of Mizuno MP52 3-pw with Dynamic Gold s200 shafts..

Just got the 6 Wood in! 20 Degrees of loft to give me nice gapping between my 3 wood and my 4 iron.  I also have a stealth 2 5 wood that I like but the gapping is a bit too tight between that club and my 3 wood so thought this would be a really great club to slot in at the 225 yard range.
