that is [b]NOT a bold face line. [/b]It may contribute to the some delay but these thing were pushed in December when I initially ordered. So unless they were singeling out Srixon boxes...

i like the hybrid off of better lies mainly as I cringe about sky marks. The few times Ive hit my u45 outdoors made me think the hybrid wont be getting used as often.

I will have to say it seems Srixon owners have a better sense of humor. I have owned lots of irons and participate in threads that are related to the irons I am playing at that time. I can't think of any other thread that everyone is helpful and playful without someone getting his/her feelings hurt. Well done all.

Super Peening Blue babies!!! What I remember and hopefully I am correct, the blues did not go as high as the Modus 120's. The Modus 120 never ballooned but it seemed like it was just almost going to. I was amazed at the distance I was getting with the Blues. I played both in S55's so it was comparing apples to apples.

With the KBS tours, I am backing up a 6 iron.

745 are awesome! I could go stock and be extremely happy. Easy to hit and they are surprisingly forgiving. Not too mention pretty long hitting. Srixzon really did well on these. For their part, this re-entry should be awesome. I would play these over ap2 any day. The only clubs they can't replace are my Miura cb57. The jpx 850f may end up in bst soon....

I think being small helps. Like being a fan of a mid-lower table football club or a hockey team that constantly just misses or makes the playoffs. The other fans haven't built up the required bile or conversely the OTT proclamations of how awesome a team is year in and year out.

It's been bad here in NC as well. Normally I am on the course now. But, it is sleeting here. I would rather get snow. Russ has my irons swapping shafts. So, I don't have them to wax. But, if ever you are going to be without your irons, now is the time.

Just picked my 545 up from the shop from being cut to length and gripped and it's cold today. Warm and rain tomorrow. Figures.

This is what Russ is doing for me.
1) Super Peening Blue 5-lw. They are soft stepped so no 4 iron.

2) 5 iron is 38" with 1/2" decrease down to pw. Then 1/4 " for gw and 54*. 60* same as 54*

3) Swing weight is D3 down to D6

4) Grips turn down.

With buying and trading irons like I do, the down side is never having something built for me. This has been a good experience and one that I would recommend to anyone. It is making me feel closer to my irons.

Super Peening Blue plays stiffer. The Modus 120 played softer. Hopefully by soft stepping them will be just right.

Stock grips +4 wraps. C taper stiff.

I hit them in my yard today. Have to say they go a bit high for my liking. Maybe should have gone with 745...

I will say that they go a mile, and feel amazing but I would be dead in windy conditions. Hit it against my AP2 6 iron and they were a good bit higher. Here's a comparison pic I took. Ap2 on the right. 545 on left. [attachment=2628899:ImageUploadedByGolfWRX Mobile1424565110.223432.jpg]
