From my experience it is pretty low spin when struck center or above but spins a lot when struck low on face compared to like an SLDR or DBD. Since my miss is usually low I didn't see the consistent results I did with those other drivers. Or my Jbeam 435 for instance.

I walked nine with mine the other day, the strap was super padded, can't say I've owned one with that comfortable a strap before I also mightve been focused on the cold than the weight

I've got several sets of matching wedges I prefer to keep the same. I'm OCD about my wedge setups. Raw Crazy Toyoshimas 52/58 are in the bag now

I completely understand. I'm the same. If I didn't own one already, I would definitely buy this from you.

I just sent my irons to Russ757. It was fun deciding what ferrules and grips to use but patience is a virtue and apparently I don't have any virtues. Lol I just bought some black and white ndmc grips and either a white or black ferrule. I just want to thank Russ again for offering to swap my shafts and regrip for me. I love this site.

That was one good looking bag. Did you see the gray grips for sale on BST earlier today? I almost bought them and said give me the Russ treatment. Imitation is flattery. But I would not want to take away your uniqueness because your 545's are truly a nice set. I sent some head covers with them to help with packaging. (I want back by the way) but once you see them, I am sure you will be getting a set.

I saw those and you are right, they did look great. I probably would have bought them but Golf Galaxy did not have them in mid size. I have always played standard but going by their chart, I needed the mid. Plus, I am starting to roll my hands a little too much causing a bigger draw than I would like. I am told a mid size grip would help. BUT, if they had it in stock, I would have purchased them.

just watch goin to big you will start the fades, ndmc u could have put 2 wraps underneath, thats what i do kind of in between standard and midsize, but man those blue and gray with shiny blue ferrules cascading the blue printing on the shaft would have been the shiite!!!!!!!!!!!!! :good: just sayin

I went by that chart a couple times and wow did it mess me up i have some enormous paws and for some reason standard grips work for me, I just adjust my swing over time. Tried going to mid size with my three wood and driver and it didn't help straighten my draw out at all.

Well I don't know much about timepieces but I do know I sure as heck like the ones they have at Bandon. Especially when it's counting down the start of play :)

And that sure put me on the accelerated get-to-know-my-Srixons program. As I've now gone from 3 rounds to 10 rounds with them.

First off the PW is fantastic. I didn't meet a knockdown shot inside of a 110yds I didn't like using that :)

On the whole they go through that firm turf as easy as any other irons* I've played and do belie what is initially a larger looking sole. I'm liking feel they produce going through ball, then turf.

I'm still working on the 4 & 5. Hit one really good 4 off the tee, but otherwise didn't have much need for them.

The ones I bought off eBay were 2* up and I think I've got enough rounds in to see that I'll be better off getting them put back to normal, which will match the #s my Callys had.

All and all, I continue to be a happy camper.

*All irons are largely half-decent or better and a bunch will work for you. Not to be interpreted as saying these are the be all to end all. ;)

I have C-Taper Lites in mine and am itching to get out and properly hit them. Damn snow.

I'll probably do a full review on the 745's and the 545 driver when I do eventually get out and play.

How did it mess you up? Now I am second guessing. I usually install them with two wraps but noticed the grips wearing out a little faster than I would like.
