Hey is it possible for you to fill in/weld the sightline then grind it smooth before painting it black? Didn't know how much you guys are capable of.

That looks so sweet. What does the face look like on that one. I have a 910D3 that I bought on ebay this summer, I really like it but it has some weird dings on the face. Doesn't seem to affect the performance, as I hit it just as far as I ought to. Wondering what you guys could do. Thanks.

2 questions. Can you do a method putter in black oxide type finish? Can you fill in the top line dot and mill a line in the flange? If so cost? Also, for clubs that have black faces and soles you guys refinishes in a silver satin? I am looking at some clubs that have the black faces and would love to get them in the silver satin.

I have a couple of Scratch wedges that need treating. One needs the face refinished and the other is a different story. It has non conforming grooves and a torched finish. Can it be brought up to legal standard?

So to clarify, this is the face of my 910D3.

I got this head on the cheap on eBay, these dings probably scared some people off, but the face isn't cracked at all and the face is hot enough to knock my old gamer out of the bag. Still got life left, so I'd love to send it in to Continental to clean it up and while I'm at it, give it some personal flair.

Based on what I've seen, I'm sure this is within the range of your capabilities to buff these ragged rock dings out of the face of my driver... And from what I've read the entire face, which used to be blackened steel would all be buffed back to a "traditional" shiny steel face.

My main question is, do any of you think the face thickness might be compromised during this process?

Maybe not? Since, maybe the deformed material that was raised at the edges of the deformation might get smoothed into the depression? Obviously a grinding wheel would remove a lot of material... Maybe a lapping/buffing type wheel?

I think since they are near the bottom of the face there's some leeway there. I would just hate to have them clean it up and then have the face fail later on next season...

Any advice would be appreciated

[/quote]I would not recommend grinding it to where it all comes out. Those faces are so thin and you would be taking to much off of it. We can however buff it some and smooth it out. I would suggest if you send it in to blast it to satin because it will help hide it a little more vrs the anodized finish you have now or a brushed look. A cool Taylormade we just finished up.

A couple clubs we finished in a new pearl coat. This finish will be a couple dollars more than a normal paint coat because the materials used. What do you guys think of this?

Day before Christmas eve; and i'm sitting here in the UK - and i decided i wanted a TaylorMade TP head refinished.......and Continental Golf was the obvious answer being an approved TM refinisher and being able to add the correct TP decals etc.

 

Couple of emails were sent to the fantastic Justin, and after some lightening fast replies the head was posted from the UK on Christmas eve......arriving with them on 2016 re-opening on January 5th. During the holidays i also had another head i bought sent straight to Continental....and Justin took delivery and tied my order to for two heads together.

 

Well....just 19 days later and the pair have arrived back on my doorstep here in England. And let me tell you: "These guys are good". REALLY good !

 

Im the most anal person equipment wise of all time, and these heads are just purdy. How they do such a quality job, in that time and for that price is quite amazing.

 

From the get-go the communication and customer service were top-notch. None of that is any help of course if the "product" doesn't match up. But these two exceeded my expectations 10 fold.

 

If only everything in life was as stress free and painless.......
