Just scored a pair of Lunar Controls Vapors before their release...very happy!

 

 

Looks like a lot of mesh! Not happy about that! How's the fit?

 

Very little mesh...a lot less than I originally thought. Fit it good!

This was waiting in front of my house after I came back from work. It's for my wife and it's in a new condition. Now I just have to wait for her bag to arrive to complete set for under $600 (5wood 5hybrid 5-pw 2engage wedges and b2-01origin putter) + rare bag.

I was at Golf Galaxy yesterday and they had them out already. When you spend more than $99 you get 15% off so it it would've come out to $148 before tax.

BTW, when I was at GG, I put on one foot the LCV and on the other foot I put on the LC4 just to kinda compare and contrast the two shoes. First impressions are the LCV are definitely more comfortable. More of a cushy comfy feel vs the LC4. Also lighter and less stable, not as solid as the LC4. But definitely a softer feeling shoe. The fit and the "footprint", or how they wrap around your foot, feels very similar between both shoes.

 

The LC4s as most know are very stable and you feel grounded in them. The stability is outstanding and the sole is rigid and tough. That being said, they wrap around my foot really well and I love the comfort and stability they provide.

One of my fave Nike shoes. They clean up very well and with the LCV, I can see how they can get a bit more dirty than the LC4. Nothing like the white TW14 Mesh but definitely more than the LC4s.

 

In the end I passed on the LCVs. Nice shoe but to me they feel like LC3s on my feet and for roughly $150 out the door, I think I'd rather get a putter for that price. LCVs are a nice, very sharp looking shoe and I'll prob end up with a pair but not at this time.

Can't tell you that...I don't have any LC4s. I can tell you this...all of my Nike golf shoes are in 9s...these ones are 8.5. Gonna test them tomorrow.

you have to click on items to see if they're "clearance" or not. Putters = yes. Irons/wedges = no.

Well..ordered an Origin B2-01 for 112.48, love the look, haven't rolled one yet though.

I picked up a B2-01 CF Origin when they first dropped and man... the best roll on the ball I've seen with a putter.

 

Surely I don't need a backup, right?

Yes you do! But I think all the CF model are gone, just ordered a B2-01 and didn't see any Counter-flex Origins available.
