I know this is the Nike forum, but I'm curious so I'm going to ask anyway. Has anybody who's familiar with the RZN Tour Platinum tested out the TP5 or TP5x? I read the article on the front page about low spinning golf balls and now I'm really curious to test them out. Always loved a higher spinning ball, which is why I love the RZN Platinum so much, but I'm wondering if the lower spinning balls might actually be better for me.

If I need a lower spinning Tour Plat (softer ground or high winds) I tend to get a RZN Tour Black out my bag - much better in the wind than the Platinums.

They had a golf event a few weeks back, a lot of rzn tours and about a dozen hyper adapt bags following the event now it's back to just normal footwear and apparel

I've played the TP5x a lot lately. It's between it and the B330s as to the ball of choice after I run out of Tour Plats. Both launch slightly higher off driver than the Platinum for me which is good. Irons and wedges aren't much difference.

does anyone have tw17? i was thinking about getting tw71, but I want black/red shoes like my old tw14 that I used to have.

How is the fit and comfort?

If it's not worth the money,(I can get it for employee price) I might just order all black LCV from golfposer

Posted that over in the deals thread this morning after I saw someone on instagram say they ordered one from RBG. Very weird that they've all of the sudden got these, wonder where the heck they found em. I bought one off ebay a while ago and they didn't pop up on there very often.

i've just started using the tp5x.

 

i have about 4 dozen rzn platinums left.

 

the tp5x seems hotter off the face and fells lighter off the putter face (despite i'm sure they are the same weight).

 

hard to judge distances as yet as it's just started getting warmer in the uk, but yes it seemed longer so far.

 

my conclusion so far is that the performance is on par if not better, so could be my future ball.

 

definitely better than prov1/x for me. and way more durable than those.

price point kills it for me, but the only reason i jumped to rzn tour blacks was because i was getting them for under a dollar a ball. between those and kirkland's i've probably got 150 balls in my basement so i should be set for quite a while. if more kirklands don't come out i'll probably be going back to top flite gamer tours...i'm a cheapo.
