Dude I worked with mysteriously goes on 'vacation' to Hawaii. Comes back after a couple of days. This happened more than ten years ago so my memory's a little hazy but this is how I remember it going down:

 

Us: "What's up? Thought you were gone for a couple of weeks."

 

Him: "Went to meet someone but they didn't show."

 

Us: "?????"

 

Him: "They didn't show."

 

Us: "What do you mean? Where were they coming from?"

 

Him: "Russia."

As the current owner of the name, I believe there is already a binding contract. However, today's events clearly constitute changed circumstances and it would be unconscionable to not allow bidding to reopen. If City is wants to open it back up, I have no objection and I hereby relinquish any claim to my $38 as long as it stays in the prize pool.

 

On a separate note, made fish tacos tonight with Habanero y Mango Salsa de Ciudad^TM. That man can do more than golf a ball. He makes a great sauce. If Clinton wins and we have taco trucks on every corner, I will be carrying a bottle of Salsa de Ciudad^TM.
