So FINALLY committed and placed an order for a DD201 putter this morning.  Kari has been a pleasure to deal with through email the last week or so.  I can't wait to see the finished product.

You and me both, brother!! I just paid for the order, and I'm so flippin' excited!!!

 

I ended up going big and ordered TWO! With the AUD/USD exchange rate and justification I was already paying for shipping all the way around the globe, I just went for it. It came out to less than the price of ordering one putter from some of the more expensive guys on IG.

 

One putter is for me, but the other one is for my dad (he's retiring in a month!). I've never really been in a position to give him a gift he wouldn't think to buy for himself, but I think this will blow him away. He is the reason I love golf (and of course, I owe everything to him for the sacrifices he made when I was growing up). I don't even think he knows custom putters are a thing. He's going to love it. I'm incredibly grateful for Kari's communication throughout the process so far.

 

The putters won't get here until the new year, but I'm already getting antsy haha.

Thinking of possibly moving my Lajosi and reordering in my new specs. Not sure if I want to go for a similar build with the mid-slant or go with a flow neck. 

 

Anyone have a Sensor Flow Neck (Not FN23) and can post the toe hang?

There was one on BST a couple years ago, seller said toe hang was 5 o'clock.

Just a heads up, the custom code is BFAC10-2023. He made an error writing his post. I sent a couple of friends his way, and the 20% off wasn't working...looks like the customs are only 10% off.

1.) Does anyone know or have pics of how Kari’s chocolate copper finish holds up over time? 
 

2.) will Kari do any extra hand softening on request?

 

3.) does anyone have a LP421 that can provide pics from address?

Here's a link to a post of mine in this thread with an address photo of the LP421 that I had.  It's LH, but you can download it and image flip it to see it in RH.  I liked the LP421 overall but ultimately didn't like the way it wanted to sit closed at address, so I sold it.

I dont love the LP421 from address...its has a bit of an odd look from the top down.  I love the overall shape of it though. 

 

Wide body sensor has nicer lines imo!

Same here.  I prefer the Bayzie HSM head shape at address vs. the LP421.

Hey, just following up seeing how excited you were! What kind of lead time was quoted? Also, how has the process been going?

Ordered mine 10-24-23 and supposed to ship out tomorrow 12-22-23.  Can’t wait to see the finished product. The pics Kari sent have me Anxiously waiting it’s arrival.

I actually paid a little earlier than I mentioned earlier (paid on 10/17). Kari initially said my order could be here stateside by Christmas, so it’s too bad that didn’t happen, but he absolutely hustled to finish a bunch of orders for everyone before the end of the year.
 

The putters are done, but I asked him to hold off shipping until the New Year because I’m going out of town tomorrow. Generally, 8 weeks to have the putter made, and then whatever it takes to ship from Australia to your spot on the globe.

I get it if you want to wait and see it in hand first. You paid for it, and it's your putter, so you don't have to share the suspense with anybody else haha.

 

...but post all the pics in the world once you get it!!
