Nike VR_S 9.5 with a Harrison SAGA 60gr S in it.

I've got a Covert 2.0 with an AXE XCALIBER TOUR T6+ S in the works. Going to see if I like the feel/sound a bit better.

I hit my VR_S fairly well but I'm always willing to try something new (and at a good price!)

Callaway Razr Fit 10.5 w/ UST Proforce V2 77g stiff flex set to O-(I have the dual cog). It's just very consistent driver. It's hard to really say anything negative about it or justify changing. I am intrigued by some of the new stuff but haven't really took the time to test n see if its worth the change. I will say I have not been fit, but the shaft I use was a suggestion by a friend/pro and its been a great match ever since. So if I do finally decide I need an upgrade I'll go through a thorough fitting first.

I really think that Razr fit and Razr Fit extreme will go down as one of the great drivers that Cally Made.

Sold all my other drivers... just gaming a G30 LS Tec because simply put, it's the absolute best driver on the market. Best blend of distance and forgiveness I've ever tried... nothing else even comes close.

SPECS

10.5* set to neutral with a Tour 80 S shaft tipped an additional .5" and butt trimmed to finish at a playing length of 44.5".

Fly z + with Aldila tour blue 65x.

Have struggled with driver for a long time. If I was a Bad driver of the golf ball I'd probably be close to scratch. This club has changed my game though and helped get some confidence back. Haven't played much this year due to lack of time however this club is great. Was 280-300 all day the other day and only missed one left which cost me. Just a good club all around.

G30 LS Tec.

Why? Until the LS Tec, the Razr Fit was the best driver I'd played, but even when I was fit for it, or fit at Ping, fitters have been OK with my numbers except for spin rate, despite a moderate club speed and a positive AoA. The LS is the only one I've tried that appreciably lowers spin but helps me keep it in the fairway.

R15 460 with a Tour Green 65TX.

Been through a lot of drivers and shafts for various reasons (RBZ, Stage 2, R1, R1v2, SLDR, BioCell+ and 913), but this is the first one I've been able to keep in play consistently. My scoring is very dependent on my tee game and this has made a drastic improvement in it. Been fitted several times the past 3 years, but finally found a winner that I have the confidence to make a swing and know my miss isn't going off the planet. Took me a while to realize that the club with the best miss is the best fit for me.

Much lower spin than my previous gamer (Nike SQ Tour 9.5*) and very smooth.

Also i didn't play golf for around 6 years...

Cobra Fly Z. Why? It's a long, straight fairway finder and I just love the look of it. Something about the way they've stretched out the head gives me a lot of confidence.

So happy with it that I've stopped worrying about driver and have moved on to figuring out how to justify replacing a perfectly good putter.

I'm gaming a big bertha alpha 9 degree with a tour ad MT 6X and it has been in the bag for over a year which has to be some kind of record. My miss the last few years has been left and with this I hit it really straight with an push or a fade being my miss if I start over swinging. I keep wanting to try the double black diamond but I hit this one so good I really can't bring myself to even try anything else.

Cobra Fly-Z X Stiff. Was having trouble keeping things from fading. Got fitted, turned out I swing fast so I needed X-Stiff. I would never have thought. Now I'm long and strong. I love the look of the club at address and I have confidence which goes a long way.

It never gets old when I tee off and my pals say "Holy S*&%!". I would also like to have a Taylormade Aeroburner, that thing is fast and smooth.

Ping G30 when I need straight or a slight fade. Ping G30 SF Tec when I need straight or a slight draw. I just let the course dictate which might be more appropriate on a given day.

Also, if I haven't hit balls in a week and can't hit the range before a round, I usually go with the SF Tec.

I liked the Tour 65 S in both heads, but I'm liking the Diamana Blue 83 S even more.

Note: Very glad that I decided to order some of the various Ping G30 head weights. I've got a 16g in the drivers to counter the 44" shafts and the mid size grips and 12g or 14g in the fairways to counter the mid size grips. The stock weights are either 8g or 10g. Also, why can't Ping clearly label the weights as TM always has. You need a weight scale to be certain which weights you are using. Really??

Why, why, why does Ping make these very necessary swingweight adjustments so difficult and time consuming??

I've found that many fitters don't even know the head weights can be ordered and Ping doesn't allow them to be stocked. You must place specific orders and then wait a week for your new weights to arrive. Really? Really?? Is it arrogance or just complete indifference to consumer's needs? TM figured out the necessity of making head weights available for adjustable drivers 12 years ago. Kinda sad...

But despite these administrative issues, all the G30's are long fairway finders and that is all that really matters.

X-Hot 9.5 with the.....(GASP!)....stock stiff shaft..

Been away from playing for quite a while and am getting out once a month now, so I like the fact that its pretty deep, but more importantly forgiving when I miss the center. The stock shaft gets pretty whippy if I go after it hard, so it helps reinforce swinging smoothly - which is a good thing when not playing frequently.

Titleist 905r 9.5* with a Aldila Rip Beta 60x.

I've been playing the Titleist 905r for the last 4 years. After a number of adjustable drivers and constant tinkering I wanted something with a traditional pear head shape and without the adjustability. I'm currently on the edge about trying new offerings to see if I can improve on that part of my game but I have so much confidence in my driver that I'm scared to test anything else. Nike and Callaway have really looked good for the last two years so maybe I'll try something from them. However the 905 is consistent and I know that I can find myself in the fairway about 275 off the tee more often than not.

Nike Vapor Speed set to 12.5º. I didn't think anything would beat my G25, but I figured I should test the latest to see how they compared. Both the Vapor, and the Cobra Fly Z blew my Ping away. Went from 91 mph swing speed to 95-97 with both of them and gained at least 20 yards over the G25 when I hit the sweet spot, and on my misses I'm just as far as my best hits with the G25. I found the Vapor to just edge out the Cobra on miss hits which is why I went with the Vapor.

Cobra Amp Cell Pro (also testing Bio Cell Pro) - 44.5" Aldila ATX Red 65 TX 1st Gen w/ Gripmaster Tour Wrap (+4 wraps buildup).

Reasons:

1. Adjustability and setup.
2. Head Shape.
3. It's RED!!

Loved the color the first time I saw one. Performance-wise, it's as reliable and long as anything I have ever tried. Would have loved to get my hands on an ATX Red 75, but couldn't find one anywhere. Recently got my hands on a blue Bio Cell Pro and have an ATX Blue 75 TX coming in for it. Head and shaft are supposed to be lower spinning than the ACP setup, so kinda curious to see how it works out. Also landed a set of Amp Cell Pro irons 4-pw a week ago. Still testing them to see if I want to stay with the S300 stock shafts or go with RIP Tour 115s.

Titleist 905T 9.5° on a YS-7+ Reg flex shaft

.......because I am getting back into golf and the TaylorMade R580 XD, I was using when I left, and I weren't getting along anymore. So I was poking around my dads old stash of clubs he hasn't touched in years and found the 905T, hit it and decided I would be using that until I "need" to upgrade.
