Question for you Nike guys. If I order a set of vapor pro combos from nike with c taper lite shafts will these irons still have a swingweight of d2.5 or does the lighter shaft lower this?

Agreed, I got 6dz printed up with $$$ but the printing looks small, doesn't look like anything special. If they did it they would have to do it right.

Alright so I have my driver and don't use my 3 or 5 wood. Then I have 4 hybrid then 5i-60 degree. I want to add the VFP 2 iron but idk what set up or gapping I should use

nothing special was in the bags today so I would say no, my guess is they will build towards the olympics and there will be one for the pga and US open

Same. Here's to hoping for some awesome Olympics releases, but seeing as to how their biggest athlete (aside from Tiger) is from/playing for Northern Ireland, I wonder how much US based gear (headcover specifically) there will be.

Just got my VFP 3i from Nike Golf. 95 Recoil and Blue MCC 4+ grip. Thing is a work of art.

 

The recoil shaft is awesome. At first glance it looks like a steel shaft.

Doesnt sound like you should have any issues adding a VFP if you have two clubs that are essentially wasting space. Add the 2, and learn to love your 5 wood! They are magically good clubs to use. Or if you really have that big of an issue with woods, maybe drop both, get your 2 iron, and add a 3 hybrid as well. That actually sounds like it might be a set up youd really like considering your fairway wood dislike.

Now that I have some time on my hands here are some comparison shots of the Vapor Fly Pro's to the OG pro combo's and the VR Cavity Combos. They fit right in between both sets providing the offset of the original pro combos with the sole width of the VR cavitys with a clubhead that is GI style. Keep in min the 8 and PW for the OG pro combos are blades. Still cant get over how awesome these are I LOVE the original pro combos and the VFP are like a GI version of them but not really GI.
