Putter is killing him today. He could easily be another 3 shots under par with even a [u][i]tiny[/i][/u] bit better putting.

Huh? Tiger bogied one and birdied three. Just back up a nuked club on prior hole, that was right over the flag, and now has 10ft. He hasn't hit a bad shot today that I've seen.

I was talking about the current state of Tiger's game. Not this round or whatever hole he is on right now. I'm one of his crazy fans that still thinks it's possible to catch Jack.

That being said it's still going to be a HUGE mental hurdle for him to win tournaments again because a single Bogey could send him into a tailspin.

I think his physical game is almost back. He can hit all the shots again. Which is why you see him striping it on the range. He's managed to stay relatively healthy too.

Is it possible for him to become the fierce competitor he was before he got married and had kids though? I really don't know.

He used to beat guys before they walked onto the course. Now he's beating himself before he walks on the course.

What is wrong with Nike for not spinning Tiger up a new shoe.

Its kinda embarrassing to see your star athlete in some old spray painted shoes ... (ok maybe they are not spray-painted, someone should ask Greg) But I have to think with a rapid prototyping department that Nike has they can probably print him a shoe at this point.

I am guessing that they are currently working on a new TW shoe for 2016 that will be similar to the 2011 he is wearing now. No need to rush it if he is happy with the shoe he is in now.

This is Hoge's first year on tour, very solid golfer from Fargo but yeah it will be something he has never seen before if he is playing with Tiger.

He's also made about $670K on the big tour (and has been playing well the last month or so with a couple of top 10's). He's sitting just a bit outside the Top 125 so a decent finish would be greatly appreciated...
