Who is completely content with their bag?

Ok, I posted early in this thread, totally happy, and I am, but...

I got a gift card from work and it paid for 2 new TM EF wedges I found on the interwebz.

This is more of a test, as I have never played anything but a Cleveland wedge, and it didn't cost out of pocket.

I am going to go ahead and give myself a pass on this one, kinda how my buddy gives himself 3.5 footers for par...

At the moment, I am completely content with my bag. With as little as I play now with 3 kids under 4, I can't foresee changing anything anytime soon.

I was on a putter search after getting my bag stolen a couple years, but I've putted since May with the Scotty and have really had some stupendous putting rounds. Like so good that if it starts going bad, I know it's not the putter.
This is the essence of this thread. Having positive experiences with every club in your bag so that when you don't have your "A" game, you can look back and say it clearly isn't the club because I've demonstrated I can hit it well. I have to admit, when I posted this I thought this would be a pretty short list of people that really feel content with their bag. Nice to see so many people happy with their setups.
That's all I ever ask for out of my clubs.

I had a friend selling some Mizuno MP-69's this year. I really like the look of those clubs, but I told him, "If I get my handicap below 4 this year (which I did), there's no way I'm switching sets."

That said, I just bought a set of used shafts, and I'm going to put them in an old set of blades I have sitting around. Maybe try them in the off-season, but I really have no desire to change anything right now.

From all the sticks I've tested over the last three years, I could not be more satisfied! I love my set-up.
I switch between the Miz FliHi 3I and the TEE E8 17* hybrid depending on the course I'm playing for the length, tees, rough height & how tight the fairways are.
I'll also switch between a 2 & 3 wedge set-up. You need a game plan for the course your playing to score your best!

I'm completely happy with my clubs and set up. There is not one thing that I'd change about my bag now. I have confidence in every club to do its job, and don't believe that I'll be making any changes anytime soon. The only way I'll replace what I have is if something wears out or breaks. I more recently replaced my wedges, so I don't see anything wearing out soon.

I am. See below.
If you post in the thread, when the OP re-visits the thread a year from now, we can see if what you wrote you're happy with is what your sig still says.

It's sort of funny sometimes if you look at an old equipment thread, you'll see some guy going, "I've never hit driver better. This thing is a beast. It's going to be in the bag a looong time" and he has all new equipment.

I have a thread several years old when I was raving about my new G15 and there are a bunch of comments in the thread about "yeah, you're in the honeymoon phase" etc etc.

I was just posting to one of our members who's a PXG guy and realized I must come clean here. If I could get a second bag without causing a marriage tsunami I'd be gettting fit for All PXG sticks minus the putter.

Tour Exotic driver, X2hot 16% H, 19% and 23%, XR pro irons 5-gap, Mizuno wedges 55 and 59, old Rife putter that I am in love with...the bag is in a happy place right now. next year if I get a little antsy with the driver that could be replaced, it is at the end of its 2nd year and the shelf life a driver is seldom longer then 2 or 3 years...other then that I am pretty locked in.

I love my bag and I am very content.
I have one club I want to buy (Ping 58 ES) and a driver shaft I want to change. These possible changes are more of dialing in through tinkering.
Either way, if I don't change or acquire any of them, that is ok too- these clubs will be in my bag for a really long time.

I'm very content with this bag setup - this is not changing! Okay, fine.....only thing that could change is the putter, between the current S2R-1 and a Smoooth Series 6 head. First time in a long time I've gone with a set I entirely reshafted myself, and the first time experimenting with reducing length on all clubs (minus putter) in the bag, including playing the 9 iron to LW tipped equally all at 35".

All Wishon:
919THI 11* (Matrix Ozik XCon 5 R - 43")
949MC 16.5*/21.5* (Matrix Ozik Code 7.1 R - 41.5"/40.5")
775HS 24* (KBS 90 Satin R - 37.5")
870TI 5-AW (KBS 90 Satin R - 37-35")
PCF Micro Tour 56*/WS 60* (KBS 90 Satin R - 35")

Who is completely content with all 14 clubs in their bag? If you are, reply to the thread and paste in your current clubs.

I was reflecting on this today. I have been playing some pretty good golf lately and I am confident with each one of my clubs. I've changed all the clubs in my bag over the past two seasons (except my 3 wood and 20* hybrid). Like several others here, I tend to get cabin fever toward the end of winter which results in spending time researching and purchasing new equipment. I think it will be interesting to bump this thread next spring to see how many changes are made.

Here is mine:
9* Ping Anser w/ Ahina
15* V Steel w/ DG Lite
17*, 20*, 23* G25 Hybrids
5-PW Ping S55 w/ ZZ-65
Ping Glide Wedges - 50* SS, 54* WS, 58* ES
Ping Ketsch Counterbalance
Not me.

I'm never completely comfortable with whatever clubs are between my 4 wood and 5 iron. Can't hit a three- or four-iron for beans. Or my lob wedge. 58* or 60*? Big or low bounce? Should the shaft be +1 like the rest of my irons or standard so I'm not choking down to bare steel on green-side chips?

I am except for my putter. I'm having experiments galore with putting right now so it'll work itself out. I kept buying different shafts trying to find something better than the 665 EVO II, but being tipped is perfect for me. Low spin but I can hit draws and fades so I'm done shaft searching. The Aero TS is an absolute beast of a club, but I can choke down to hit shorter if needed and the R15 hybrids are just nasty awesome. Long, but plenty of spin to hold greens. I just turned down a trade for an almost new set of MP-4's because I know they won't beat out the Fly Z Pro's and Fourteen makes amazing wedges.

I'm sure in 4 months it'll all be different...sigh...

I'm set. At this point, any purchases are for morbid curiosity than anything else. I really need to post some stuff in BST.
