Did anybody catch Phil's comments on his driver this week at Pebble Beach. Wondering if he was struggling with the SubZero and went back to the 816 DBD? With the coverage this week it is hard to catch many swings from anybody.

I think he swapped to the DBD trying to hit it lower to run farther and quickly realized how good the subzero was treating him ....

Hopefully Callaway will make a production model of the Sub Zero! I love the clean top with the glossy finish. Would love to see one side by side with an 815/816 DBD.

I agree. The pics of Jason Gore's is, imo the best looking driver (not) on the market today. So very clean. I know it's a bigger head, but the last one that was that clean was the FT Optiforce 440.

I assume it was just a minor misprint, he had to sharpie over it to make it conforming.

Wall said that he would have the properly stamped ball in play next event.

Maybe raise the CG and SW since so much has been ground off the sole

That driving iron is a 4 iron. Also it promotes a lower ball flight than the apex pro 4 iron.

Looks like Phil had a Fubuki J in his 3 wood today at the St Jude Classic.

 

I think he had a Fubuki K before the recent HZRDUS (I've seen a Fubuki K with Fubuki J graphics, so who knows what shaft he's actually playing)
