Wow Q I wouldn’t even Qnow how to find that info. Of Quorse I’m not from Pluto. With all this moving I hardly have time to post or play around a round. I’m going for Quality over Quantity. Oh wait. I did play around a round this week and had an eagle. Now am I bragging or complaining? Quary on :)

Umm....geez! Rough crowd!

 

I kind of wiped them down a little after I hit them. Lol.

 

:D I'm going to clean them. Playing tomorrow if doesn't rain in the morning.

Clean clubs are happy clubs... at least that's what we used to say about boats... which is kind of a weird thing to say unless you're in an animated movie.

My buddy is an athletic trainer at Illinois for the football team. Pretty cool but like you said, probably not going to make them any better haha

First wife was from champaign and an Illini family thru and thru. Dad was a lineman and an Illinois hs wrestling coach hofer. Nice family and a true regret our marriage did not work. No animosity involved. Long followed the suffering Illini with a few bright spots in Basketball and sometime even football. But now has gone completely in the crapper.

It's gotten so bad, I heard they were going to start calling the confetence the Big Ten ... and mean it.

Pigems. I used to have a bronze Cleveland putter...... Loved it! But of course I'm a self proclaimed putter ho (at least was before I found my Byron) and sold it to find a new one. The feel of those are unreal and very quality. Also, you should buy those macs...... Just sayin haha fantastic shape and sweet ferrules and grips

 

They are in pretty sweet shape aren't they?? So Very temping but I have a very hard time buying anything not branded Titleist lately lol

 

Here's a little different Cleveland 8802 style. Cleveland Classic Byron Nelson from the mid-80's (?). More "squarish" head design. Haven't played it much, style doesn't suit my stroke very well. Seem to yank everything left. Does have the original brown leather grip, looks like a Neumann. Sweet. Probably NOT going to be changing the grip.

 

 

 

That's a sweet putter for sure :)

an 8 iron. It's the "knowing" that you did it with a 3 iron that makes it

"feel" so good along with watching the ball flight. So it's partly the feel

in your hands and partly the feel in your mind....sound included.

That's flushing one. I typically just flush tp. Can only imagine the feeling of getting a club to go down. I'm on septic now and don't want to risk it just for the feeling.

Yeah it's always good to have some wet wipes in the bag. If anyone sees them you can say they're for "perspiration issues".

Ha ha, thanks. I just closed my eyes after reading your words and tried to imagine that crisp feeling of puring a 3 iron. I almost got it, only the last time I hit my 8 or 6 irons out of the middle was a few years ago, and they were flukes, so I don't have a whole lot to go off.

 

I guess I'll have to live my dreams of ball striking prowess vicariously through you from now on...

Def bragging, not complaining, heck what's a bunch of Kleenex? A flushed blade long iron is the reward for a patient centered swing. Long irons just need a lot of discipline. No swaying, head movement, no rushing, all tempo.

(it's early in the season for you, maybe you should go to the WRX range, get a bucket of keyboards, type up some small posts first and work your way up to some bigger ones, it will come back in no time, retrain your fingers, get a cordless mouse if you don't have one. Sometimes you feel weird posting, but when you look back on your likes, you get posting confidence, and posting confidence eliminates posting weirdness, and eliminating posting weirdness gives you that inner strength to help you as a human being to know that as a part of society and to know that on this planet you fit in and are important because-- hey, hey... what? enough already, he gets the point..... Ok.... :cry:
