I seen this on my Safari Bred Roshe, used them one round at Erin Hills, and red was gonzo!

the cool greys go with everything in my golf wardrobe. the white gums are a sleeper - they look GREAT on feet. i'd be happy to double up on either of these... BUT, i'm missing the safari bred from the set. can't decide what to do about my #firstworldproblem LOL

I think the "BRED" XI's would look better with the clear sole instead of the red.

I wonder how hard it would be to just scrape the foil off the shoe completely. Seems like all it would take is a club brush and it would come off

From the looks of that picture the foil will flake and it isnt even uniform. So the foil on the sides will probably come off in chunks too? Then its not even a Bred. :( I guess I'll pass. I suppose I could go after it with some mirror red paint, but that seems like too much trouble.

It’s a well known thing that the foil will come off. It’s there for display to give them pop. Anyone who is a fan or did any research before the initial release would be aware of that and expect it

Nike also lets the consumer know with a sticker on the shoe that it will come off. A consumer lacking product knowledge isn’t a brands fault. The vast majority of those buying Js aren’t doing it for the look of the sole especially the 11s

Not putting the foil issues on the website page when they were for sale is the brand's fault...Slapping a little sticker on the bottom for the buyer to see when they open the box is shady AF...The brand knows most people won't send them back because they are hard to come by and the buyer won't know how extreme it will be once they're worn...By the time they wear them and find out they thinks it's too late to return... Not everybody buying these shoes are fanboys, hang out on these threads, or are savvy enough to know this prior to purchasing...

yes they are rare, yes there are non fanboys buying them and yes there are those buying them that won’t or don’t read this site or other places where this is discussed. But again upon receiving the product there is a sticker ie warning label.

Nike has a pretty good return policy so saying they can’t return them is not 100% true. If the consumer sees the sticker and chooses to wear them and not return at that point, then gets upset that the foil came off that’s the consumer accepting the stated risk.

Nike has a 30 day return policy for any reason. Just because something is hard to come by doesn’t mean anything. If you wanted the shoes, the foil issue shouldn’t make a difference. If it does, return them or sell them for msrp in the classified forums. The foil issue is known from a different release from a year or two ago.
