Just got an XCG5 3W and driver off the bay with the AD shafts in each. Re-gripped, can't wait to get to the range. Not sure about the driver yet, but the 3W just looks like it could peel the ball off of any lie. Seems like of all the TEE XCG line, the 5 is the one most around here are the fondest of, and that's saying something.

My TEE CB3 4wood has not left my bag ever since I played it first back in 2011.

XCG7 Beta 3W here with the Black Tie. Love it. I need to try it off the tee a little more but it's great from the fairway. Tried it once and hit a moon shot because I had the tee too high with my descending AoA. Maaan when you connect it just FLIES.

The best fairway wood I ever owned was an XCG-V. If I could find another in good condition I would snap it up in a heartbeat. I'd like to see heavier shafts in their newer models.

3,4, and 5 are same....6 too prolly but has different shaft....

Only wish is they came with heavier shaft and heavier SW....60-65 gram is light for fwy wood as well as D0-D1 swingweight

My 3 wood is lightest club in bag and that should not be case

Okay...I'll be the first to say I play TE Hot Launch hybrid irons. I'm not 90 years old and play just above single index. Just bought these in December so I haven't played but a couple rounds due to the lousy weather up here. Fact is the ball will fly Jason Day high and spins like crazy off everything from a 7 on down so I can now stop the ball on the green, like you guys with a much faster swing speed. Even just a descent swing produces a high straight ball flight with minimal distance loss. Not crazy long like M2 irons but I've learned at least for me, those irons get distance from minimal spin which means the ball will land and roll forever. Use the sand wedge around the green for chips and pitching without the worry of chili dips.

I just switched to a set of TE Gold iron-woods and man, are they fun to hit, especially the 8 on down. It's just silly how forgiving they are and I have no problem flighting the ball with them if I need to. Cup face, variable thickness face, fat arse... what's not to love?

TEE 3 wood is best purchase I've ever made. Currently gaming e8 3 wood and MAN! That thing is DEEP.

Bombed a few this last fall well over 300 off the tee. Straight as a whistle

Love the look people give you when you fly their driver with your 3 wood. Feeling like Henrick Stenson out here. Lol. I just give them the Tour Edge shrug ??

^ Yep. I've been using the E8 Beta for around a month now and it's ridiculous. I don't hit it as long as you lol, but it's much longer than any 3W I've ever played. A few rounds ago I hit it pin high (albeit a little left) from like 270 out on a par 5. I was looking about 40 yards short when my buddy yelled to me that he'd found it up by the green. I knew I hit it right on the money, but didn't think it'd go that far at all. Club is a monster.

Currently playing an xcg3 3w...I had the original cb1 3w and actually switched it out for a 16.5 4w cause the 3w was too long. I haven't played any other brand fw since. Quality products without a doubt. Check out seller golfvortex on the Bay as they move a lot of TEE product at good prices.

I bombed my CB pro u 19 270 this weekend (it was downwind 10 mph), got it up and in for my bird

Few holes later a 220 yard par 3 into the wind, hit it to 15 feet of the pin. Couldn't be happier, it's a weapon

I have a XCG7 Beta 3 wood and the thing is obscene. I can get 280 carry out of it when I nut it even off the fairway. I came to the conclusion at the end of the season last year that it was just too much. I ended up buying a 16.5 CB4 to have something more useful. The XCG7 was just uncomfortably long.

My progression:

XCG 3 wood. Deep face, superb off the tee - could not hit it from the deck...moved on (still have it in basement)

Added XLD driver. Loved it for years. Have since gotten fitted with a different driver. Got son and XLD as well and he friggin hammers it.

XCG-v hybrid. Loved it, sometimes overly hooked it - not uncommon with hybrid. Just put it on the bench this year in favor of a driving iron

XCG irons 3-gap. Great underrated irons. Game improvement but not overly clunky, got these after I got sick of Cally x-12 chunks. Just got fitted with Srixon irons, will give away the XCGs as resale value was $35 (before shipping) haha

Just added an EX-10 3 wood, happy to say I am back into the TEE camp - absolutely crushing this club, with the proper shaft for me.

Sadly, no TEE LH drivers and TEE is no longer making lefty equipment. The end is near.

... Bot sure which came first, the original Copper Rescue or the Tour Edge Lift Off Ironwood. Tour Edge sold the original Ironwood in Chicago stores built in David Glod's garage. It was a nice secret weapon many of us in the area played. Later a more refined Tour Ironwood was released that is still a viable club today. I was as or more impressed with the CBX Ironwood than any DI I hit at the show this year. Just great stuff.

I have had TEE for years. Started with the XLD driver I think it is. A three wood (cant remember the model) that is the easiest one I own to hit. Their blades from 2000ish and just picked up a brand new set of the original hot launch irons. Absolutley live those, a game improvement iron witb minimal offset compared to other brands I own.

On thing I wish however is for them to offer a set of blades. Not a new set every product cycle but maybe one every 8-10 years or so. The original tour edge blades were pretty sick and the vblades were a really nice forged cavity blade design.

... I hit the CBX MB's at the Show Demo Day and was very impressed. My days of playing MB's are long gone but if I were in the market, these would definitely be on my short list. Unfortunately I deleted the pictures I took on Demo day but:

i happened to be at golf galaxy today getting some wedges reshafted, and found a set of tour edge hot launch irons...they are hybrid irons with a wiiiiiiide sole, like my 31* ping g20 hybrid...grabbed the 7 and got on the launch monitor...my gosh, these things are easy to hit well!!!!!!!!!!! yeah, i got 'em, and played a round today, using the pw thru 7...gonna play em' again tomorrow and see if the results are just as incredible! i. um, i'm a ping man, but these might replace several ping irons...

so, went out today, and i'm gonna stick with the pings and give these to my daughter.
