So frustrating. He could be 8 or 9 under right now..

Bro, I'm tellin ya that it doesn't matter-

He could be -8 come Sunday and he'll throw an 80 down to finish +2....

If yourw bettin $$$, bet on it!

Otherwise, he's solid

Regards,

RP

Hey Richard,

Been awhile since I've posted on the forum and I'm sure you've addresses it before but why all the hate on DJ? Seems like people here either love him or hate him. Genuinely curious. Personally I am a huge fan. He's had some issues but who hasn't? Pulling for him hard this week...although your post more or less has been rooted in my mind for a long time as I watch him play unfortunately haha :)

Hey Bro, it's great to see ya posting as I really enjoy your thoughts and opinions!

Regarding DBag, and hate is a tad strong though I realise that that's a virtual world phenomina and you either like em or you're a hater however pertaining to his Play, it's really quite aimple-

He always finds a way to lose in a major-

I'm a firm believer that future outcomes can be accurately forecasted based on past performance.

His past performances in Majors speaks for itself

He ALWAYS has found a way to lose-

By shooting 80-

By not knowing the rules-

By missing critical putts-

End of story.

I don't speak of this however you asked so I'm gonna answer-

As a Man he's a piece of s***!!!

He slept with two of his peers' wives-

Yes, one was separates however the guy was trying to get back with his wife and regardless, they were still married-

I'm not debating this or discussing this further however I know this as a fact and I can look past a lot and very very very rarely judge another man.

However he crossed a line that I will judge on-

He's a scumbag-

Other than that I'm good with him

Again, I would not have spoken of this if you had not asked Bro-

Just my .03 worth...

I hope that you'll post as time permits!!

Stay well my Friend :)

My Best,

Richard

Understandable for sure and not looking for anything further :)

I think we can all agree nothing beats us open golf at 8:45pm!

But ya know something?

Something deep down inside of me hopes that he takes this and uses it to launch himself-

He's one talented son of a b****, lol

I'm gettin soft, HaHa

All the Best,

Richard

Don't care who's calling it. You put this much pro tracer on the time and is awesome coverage...

Coverage has been really good, IMO. No complaints here.

Agreed. Felt like they struggled a bit with the rain/delays, but they've hit their groove this afternoon. Buck/Strange/Zinger/Faxon are just fine and visually the telecast looks excellent (frankly, better than any other network currently covering golf).

Fox showed a lot of promise last year (I'm one who thought they were a lot better than the critics gave them credit for) and I'm really looking forward to the weekend.

Totally agree. I'm sure there's logistics and $ involved but I'd love to see the pro tracer at more tournaments. Not many commercials is always nice

I feel like the negative reviews Fox got last year meant that the innovative things they did (tons of protracer, graphics with flag location/distance, etc., lots more/better microphones) got ignored. Here's hoping the other networks (in particular CBS) get the hint and start to innovate with their golf coverage.

Why is Oakmont's symbol a squirrel when they don't have any trees?

a good question, but maybe worded incorrectly, since over the years they've removed THOUSANDS of trees from the entire property...

Why is Oakmont's symbol STILL a squirrel when now they don't have many trees?

They should change it to a chainsaw

CBS's main problem is they don't show actual golf.

Was thinking the same thing. But hey, it's golfwrx, I'm sure there's a plethora of folks who hate the coverage..

Good golf to commercial ratio, looks great visually (tons of protracer, great graphics, etc.) and decent commentators (no, they may not win a sports Emmy, but at least Rich Lerner isn't on the property), I'm a happy golf fan...

Not a fan of the sound quality, but the camera angles, quality of the feed, and amount of golf shots/protracer shown are great.

I thoroughly enjoyed the one clip where they had the overhead blimp shot and you could hear a tractor trailer from the turnpike laying on its horn

A worthless factoid....

Stan Druckenmiller wrote a check to cover the turnpike bridge-

Good Dude

You'd never ever guess that he was filthy rich and the individual responsible for the single greatest investment Play of All-Time when he was the Man for George Soros-

And he's a nice stick to boot, lol

I just woke up after a little nap-

I'm always full of worthless s*** when I wake up...

HaHa, yea, like it gets any better ;)

It's a British/Australian thing. In Australia McDonalds is Maccas.

Speaking of Aussies, WTH is Bowditch doing on a golf course? He should be playing Munis. +17, at least he's not dfl.

I taped this as I do most golf telecasts so I can sift through the rubbish.

After all the lack of golf due to the rain, did we really need a golf rules lesson?

Unless I missed him due to being too quick on the button, which I don't think I did, the first I've seen of Louis is his 2nd shot into 9. That's my 1st glimpse of one of the best, if not the best, swings in golf. In my mind that is very poor from the director or whatever title he/she has that decides what we want to see. I saw Billy's pants quite a lot but not Louis swinging it, especially when he's also in the Scott/Day group & going well also....p### poor imo.

Holly I don't need....except if I was having a restless night. She can keeep her makeup on no problem...

Wow, Zach Edmonson saw a lot of the layout...

166 strokes worth

89, 77....

And that 77 had 4 bird's in it

Tip of the hat for him grinding it out...

This game is hard....

And some days it's brutally hard

And Mike Van Sickle still has a chance!!

He's T72(+6) and as I said earlier, he is in the Oakmont books one behind Johnny with a 64 in the PA Open.

Granted it wasn't the US Open but he has rained birdies on this course and I know he's planning his round for tomorrow.

Damn that would be sweet if he gets into the top 60!!

TV coverage.

Joe Buck-better than Nance. Less arrogant than usual and didn't try to say too much. Overall not as bad as most claim he is.

Azinger-I like Paul but he is trying too hard too sound intellectual. I like it better when he was busting Faldos balls.

Faxon-meh. No issues

Strange-I can take him I small doses.

Pro tracer-awesome!

Cup Mics. Cheesy

Holly-needs to be doing the weather on the 10:00 news in a small market.

Fox is doing a nice job, much better than last year. Hey guys lighten up it could be worse it could be like the old days when you just saw 9 holes on the weekend.

Ping G400 Testing G410.  10.5 set at small -
