So now, according to the University of North Carolina, saying the phrase "golf outing" or "a round of golf" is now considered a micro-aggression. Yup. They say that pretty much mentioning golf "assumes employees have the financial resources/exposure to a fairly (expensive and inaccessible) sport.” So, there you have it. Golf is now a micro-aggression. We are doomed......

The article put it in the context of talking about a "staff retreat." One should assume that the expense of a "staff retreat" is not passed onto the employee but rather is paid for by the company. Dumb. But that's besides the point.

 

The point is that we now live in a world where someone is offended by anything that is said. I'm probably offending someone right now.

 

Had to complete an online form for our company's new health insurance plan recently. Instead of asking if you were a male or female, it asked "which restroom would you use?" with a picture of a men's room and a women's room. Think I'm kidding? Think again. We can now not even ask someone their gender without offending them. Good grief.

 

I don't think that people are actually offended in many of these cases. They just want to find something that they can claim is offensive so they can complain about their feelings. Not because their feelings are actually hurt but just because they like to complain.

Guy's.. I'm 26, and a millennial, and I just wanted to say that I'm sorry.

 

Also.. I noticed some of you have some clubs that I cannot afford. It's EXTREMELY micro aggressive of you to display them in a signature to rub that in my face. Give them to me. Oh, I almost forgot, some of the clubs aren't available for lefties.. so if you could just stop playing them, that'd be great. If not, I will have to start a parade. Maybe some protests.

As long as you can't swing faster than me, no. If you can, I'd consider it aggressive.

 

If you can repeat the swing a few times a minute, I would consider it a semi automatic swing and you need to learn a new swing or else the federal government will take your golf clubs away.

Have these PC "researchers" ever played Clifton Park in Baltimore, MD? Someone should tell me how inaccessible golf is when a drive-by leaves a corpse on the 14th tee(?) right along Belair Rd. Just asking.
