Nike Footwear 2017

What are peoples thoughts on the FI flex ? Looking for a good comfortable walking shoe. I have read some concerns about durability.

Their predecessor, the Nike FI Impact 2, was one of the best lightweight waterproof spikeless shoes to date. Incredibly comfortable, well made and kept feet dry on dew soaked mornings. I have 3 pairs and absolutely love them.

I finally got a chance to try on the FI Flex the other day and it was night and day compared to the FI Impact 2. The Flex felt stiff and cheap and it seemed like they had added a significant amount of cushion which eliminated the low profile feel that I enjoyed with the Impact 2's. It took me about 10 seconds to put the thought of giving them a go out of my mind. I still keep an eye out for the FI Impact 2's on shelves though and wish they would release something similar in the future.

I'll echo that, and also suggest up the Fi Premiere's. Dirt cheap on ebay and comfy as s***. I've got like 50 rounds on my white pair this summer, and they still look great. I regularly walk 18 with a push cart and never have any soreness. I keep meaning to snap a picture of my white ones and post them.

Thanks for the info -- mainly looking for spikeless but the minimal spikes on the FI Premiere shouldn't bother. I'm right handed and have had some left knee issues and do a lot better with spikeless, also love to walk. However it's definitely worth trying them out at that depressed price.

How would you guys say the FI Premiere run compared to LC Vapors? I've found all Nike golf shoes run big compared to regular Nike runners / trainers the past 2 years.

Premier runs wide even in medium width, but length is spot on for me. I have to buy "wide" shoes 90% of the time, but had to return the Premieres in wide, never had a shoe too wide.

Dunno if you've got a Dunhams Sports anywhere near you but mine has been carrying them, I tried them on there before buying them on ebay.

Yeah i think there are only like...4 spikes? Hell, I bet you could just take the spikes off if you wanted to and they'd be completely spikeless...

And what Warrick said, in regular size they are wider than most regular nike shoes. Which is nice for me, I always wore wides in the Lunar Control line and just went with regulars in the Fi Premiere line.

I'll echo this as well. I tried on the Premiers and liked them quite a bit but I'm a size 12 with a narrower foot and the regular width was too wide for me. Felt like I'd be sliding laterally in them during the swing. Fairly close to a spikeless despite the spikes.

To anybody looking for replacement Nike/3M dotted shoe laces for LCVs (or to replace other laces) - I just found some on KITH (streetwear brand). They have a relationship with Nike and these look almost identical to the LCV laces. They have Grey, Navy, White, and Black versions for $15 each. I tried to find something similar a while back and had a hard time. Just stumbled on these looking at the KITH x Nike release from yesterday. They do have "Just Us" branding on the ends that KITH uses on some of their Nike collab stuff.

nice!!! are they the same length?

I'm not 100% sure how long the LCV laces are, but 125cm (49") is pretty standard for low top sneakers. If it's not perfectly the same, I bet it is close.

after some ordering issues, I was able to get my usual golf shoe size of 8.5 in the lunar vapor storms, in addition to the previously only available size 9. I put them in a head to head test hitting balls in the garage, and went with the half size up, size 9. the size 8.5 toe box was too low, and I could feel it pressing down on my big toe as I hit. In addition, the BOA dial felt way too pressured on the top of my foot in the 8, and was near impossible to zip up.

the 9 was perfect other than being just a tiny bit too long.

for me, it's fine. but I don't have a wide foot. the 9 didn't feel any different to me than the 8.5 in LCV, except for the little extra length and the lower toe box.

Any chance the Irridesant NGC Nike AM 90 is coming out soon??

https://www.golfposer.com/golf-footwear/golf-shoes/nike-golf-shoes-ngc-air-zoom-90-it-wolf-grey-2017

These NGC Air Zoom 90s have been around. Not sure if that is the pair you're talking about or not, but it's the only zoom 90 NGC version i've seen.

I think he means these:

Irons: 3-PW Titleist DCI 822 OS

Do we have a potential release date for the Air Zoom Accurates? To me those look like the best looking shoes in the lineup, at $90 they probably aren't waterproof though which is a major bummer.

As for the LCV2, I really like the look I just hate that spike pattern. I have the LCV1 and those things tear up greens like no shoe I've ever had before.

They do not tear up greens unless you drag your feet. On wet soft greens they leave imprints just like any other shoe, which disappear quickly.

Never mind found them and purchased . Can’t wait for these to arrive . My fifth pair on the Zoom AM 90s. Most comfortable golf shoe I’ve ever worn.

huh.. I can only find the older NGC version, gray white brown

If you click on that is shows the other colorway, I'm on the fence......was hoping this would look a little more navy, the pics on TGW show this as predominantly black which is fine unless you're me and just the Black & White AM90's 3 weeks ago.......oh well poor me I guess
