In the end, they are just hunks of steel made by a computer controlled machine. It does suck to see guys bragging on FB that they were able to buy 5 items in this release.

I had the chance to get just about whatever I wanted this release, but none of it really appealed to me too much. I don’t want to buy stuff to flip even though it would be so easy to do. I just want a regular or mini pitch mark repair tool.

Had a single item in my cart each of the last three releases. First time it was a putter release. Major bummer. Then saw an IG post about sniping and the issue wasn’t supposed to happen. It wouldn’t happen in future releases. Next release, I had a donut in the cart and immediately went to pay. Nope. Didn’t wait. Didn’t add multiple items. Didn’t delay as I had a profile setup already. Third time was today. Refresh, refresh, refresh. Finally the site opens. I add a marker and go to pay. By the time I sign in and pay, the marker is gone. Crazy! Waste of time and effort. Reminds me of Apple creating a line when you know they likely have iPhones in the back room. Oh well. I’ll spend my money elsewhere again. Given I have been able to add products now to my cart only to have them gone with assurances this wouldn’t happen again makes me less interested to try for a fourth time.

no problems with the release on my end. got exactly what i wanted, while i was working, and had zero issues. tyson posted the anti-sniping software wasn't working yet. however, if you're quick, it isn't at SC levels yet. so if you're slow, prioritize.

Agreed. It seemed I could grab what I wanted but I threw stuff in the cart and checked out immediately.

 

Now obviously the next putter release will be a different story since there are limited amounts.

Just a donut marker. Seriously not a big deal or not being a “moaner”. I have two head covers from last year. I’d probably lose a marker, just enjoy their products and craftsmanship and love supporting small business.

I am not taking it that way just asking.

 

The donuts go fast because they only release small numbers and people are still trying to get them all.

Not SC levels yet but some of the exact same problems. We live in age where blaming technology is not acceptable.

I have stayed fairly silent and been reading this thread for a while...its very interesting and a great discussion point.

 

For me... I have been lucky enough to get a putter on the October release, I have several doughnuts and through a friend managed to grab a Divot Tool yesterday.

Its gotten harder to get bits on the release, and certainly the times for me have been hard as its normally 2 am in the UK.

 

The business is slowly growing, at their pace and I like that. Its important they do it how they see fit and what is sustainable for them. If they were to suddenly try and release tons of product they couldn't keep up with - for me that would be far far worse. We all need to put it into perspective and keep that in mind. If we have orders placed, paid and they cant fulfill then the reaction will be far worse.

 

Having spoken to them both personally during the process of making my Allendale, I can understand how both Tana and Tyson work. They are incredibly thoughtful and caring people. I have no doubt they will get this issues right - 100%

 

For the time being, lets sit back and enjoy the ride. If we miss something - I am sure there will be chances to grab it in the future (Unless its a shield or Moe)

 

Lets enjoy the breath of fresh air, and have fun with it.

Im not sure why anyone is complaining about inventory being sold out. They stated that cart protection was not in place so it was a race to the finish. Its a fine line on how quick to get in and out. I chose to go in and get the 2 things I wanted and was in and out in about 40 seconds and got both with no issue. Went back in to get a few more things and then had cart issues after I had added them but that was a chance I was willing to take. They do a great job overall. Expect to see big things in 2018

I would think so simply because it's implying to mean the same thing. I wouldn't think the star being slightly different is going to matter.

 

Marvel could easily sue since he's making money off of copying their trademarked items.

I don't care either way. However, you misunderstand a company like Disney they are sue happy and have the money to do it. Do you think they care he only made 50? You also act like he didn't steal the design for profit. In fact he did.. If he didn't he wouldn't have sold them at all especially for any amount of money. He actually made $2,000+ net.

 

If he steals $2000+ from you personally that's a felony in most states.

Honestly, I don't think he stole a design at all and I don't think its Marvel's copyright in the first place because the design is so commonly used. Why would Marvel have the willingness to make a lawsuit over a design that has probably preceded the company itself?

he didn't quite let the paint dry on the neck but hot damn that's a sexy looking flat stick.
