Global Golf extra 40% trade-in value

Just wanted to pass along that Global Golf is automatically applying the 21% off and I was able to stack code "TREAT" on top for another 15% off. I'm not sure how long it will last, but it worked as of this morning.

 

 

And you can trade in your stuff too, correct. Add the 21% + this 15% almost gets you back up to the extra 40% trade in value.

So is there no trade-in deal going on right now? The values that I was given for my clubs seemed pretty good even without a promo code. I got $24 for an old Odyssey putter compared to $13 trade-in on Rock Bottom.

This is true but just remember that if you are patient and can hold out for a trade in promo then sit on the credit until a good purchasing promo comes around. In August the ly were running both purchase and trade in promos so you could get +40% on the trade in then -20-30% on the purchase. Made for some sweet deals.

 

I am sitting on two sets of irons but don't have any urgent needs (almost November in Michigan) so I will stay patient.

Good point. I'm just trying to move three sets of older irons without any luck. At least this way I could trade them for something I could either use or would be easier to sell.

No current codes that i know of. I had some credit from a previous trade-in and took advantage of the stackable codes

Looks like they're on to DoND... now you have to enter either 'boo' for 21% or 'treat' for 15%. Both don't work at once.

youll get an email notification about a gift card. Just email them with the order id (after you get your email notification /credit) and ask that they apply your trade in against your CC.

 

The email I received showed the amount I have as the difference after my purchase, so I'm guessing they credited the purchase amount back to my card.

 

So much information and help in this thread. Since I was so late on the GG deal, I just sent two older sets of irons and a wedge set off the PGA.com using their 20% bonus. I got a little less than I wanted, but they weren't selling on theBST or eBay. And I'll get a check this time.

Supply and Demand - Over the course of this year I traded a lot of clubs. I noticed this price change as well. Two reason why: If they already have a large selection of a specific make and model their offer price will be lower and this is the end of the season so merchandise is not moving as fast. Just be patient and wait for the need and then trade them in.

My set of BC Eye2's listed today for $125. I'm pretty sure when I looked earlier in the week they were almost $170.

Yeah, I always tried to do my buying in the winter. I used to be able to stockpile some stuff over the winter and resell in the spring. Sometimes make a little money even.

 

Unfortunately the shoe's on the other foot now. Trying to get ready to move, stuff needs to go, and it's not going well.

I've noticed that sometimes clubs will disappear from the site to appear again a couple weeks later. I guess you can assume these are clubs returned due to maybe cosmetic issues?

I'm not discounting this as a possibility, but it also could be that somebody placed an order with a money order and never sent payment. When I was waiting for my trade-in credit to show up a rep told me over the phone that I could put a hold on an item I wanted by placing an order w/money order as the payment. That would prevent anybody else from purchasing the item. During the checkout, I saw that you had either 7 or 10 days to send payment otherwise item would be relisted.
