Global Golf extra 40% trade-in value

Hopped on the Srixon train. Traded in MP-15's for a 545/745 set. Was pretty much an even trade and Im not quite good enough for the Mizzy's. Hoping the Srixons will have a touch more forgiveness.

 

Got them in today and I wasn't happy with the condition. Big ding on the PW and a lot of chatter on the 9. They were supposed to be excellent. Also the set was 545 4-7, and 745 8-P. Didn't expect the split to occur at the 7. Sending them back for refund and ordered new 765's. With the 20% off plus 10% code, $769 minus the $500 return credit = $270 more for new seems like an easy choice

Just got the 3 SM6's I ordered with some of my credit. Two were listed as very good and one was listed as excellent. All three look great! A few chatter marks on all of them but they're in really good shape. A real bargain for less than $200 for 3 almost new wedges

I just used the trade in bonus again for a Betti Kuchar #1. It was $230 but with discount including 15% for LH, free shipping, and the 20%, it brought it down to $152 with tax. Traded in $76 worth of clubs which brought the trade in total to $106 ( just enough for free shipping). I also used my points to get a $30 gift card.

 

The total cost to me out of pocket comes to about $16, plus $76 worth of trade in clubs sitting around. Awesome deal as the putter is listed an excellent condition.

Well I sent two old sets to them for a 300 credit. I have built a Callaway bag with x forged irons and am now working on a backup Ping Bag with i20 irons. This site has been a terrible influence LOL.

No kidding. Had to do another trade-in - driver, irons, and a putter. Turned around and bought an excellent condition set of 945 irons, a pair of UA pants, and a pair of rain gloves. The rain gloves were the only item I really needed.

Just pulled the trigger on another trade last night...

 

Ping Ketsch putter and an Adams Pro A12 hybrid for a Scotty Select Golo 5. Ended up out of pocket <$20 with discounts and trade bonus.

 

Earlier this month I traded my primary irons (Ping G25) and most of my backup bag (3drivers, fairway, putter) for a ~$900 trade credit. I used the credit to purchase a new M2 custom driver and new set of Srixon 745 irons. I came out of pocket <$5.

 

I also accrued enough points (along with some smaller earlier purchases) to get two free Yeti 20oz mugs.

 

I love this place... Allows me to try out new equipment without dealing with the hassle of craigslist/eBay/BST. It also enabled the purchase of my first new driver and iron set.

So if I just ordered some clubs, can I submit a trade in once I receive the new ones or was I supposed to do that when I placed the order? Didn't know they were doing an extra 40% and that might make it worth it rather than trying to sell my SLDR irons.

 

I might be wrong, but to get credit on the order you need to do the trade-in before you complete the order. If your order hasn't shipped, perhaps you can cancel it and start again?

 

So they expect you to trade in clubs BEFORE you receive clubs you're ordering from them? How am I supposed to play golf without any clubs? :)

No, mine were DGS300's. I thought they were in pretty good condition but I saw they listed them as value, I would have been happy if I had received them as value irons (they seemed to sell pretty quickly). I posted this before but the 714's I bought were listed as Very Good and were awesome. So far I have been very pleased with GG's condition assessment.
