The lack of 70g+ shaft offerings is extremely disappointing. Guess it's Callaway for me this year.

You can't order it with the 70 at no up charge?

Hit the F7 and F7+ today. F7+ was a winner in my book, not as crazy about the F7 bigger head and more spin. Really solid clubs. felt good too.

Have you ever hit the fly z? if so, compare? If not... what driver is it most similar to?

Never really played any Cobra before. Hit the Fly Z+ a few times indoors and thought it too was pretty good. The feel on the F7+ was very solid wooden bat thwack (if that makes sense). Very good club with low moderate spin and good feel. I'd definitely like to hit it outdoors in good weather to see flight. The F7 appeared a little closed to me and big. Very solid as well but spin was in the 3200 range for me with the stock stiff shaft.. Sorry I couldn't help more. Not much Cobra around here where I'm from. Think there stuff is really good though.

They have a very small selection. Like 5 shafts

That's a huge fail on Cobra! The new TM's will have 30 and Callaway will have like 16-20 at no up charge!

Will the Callaway shafts be over 70 grams and have any over 80 grams for the fairway woods. Callaway seems to offer a lot of shafts, but most are in the 50 to 60 gram option.

Yah I count 9 70+gram options. That's plenty

I disagree. Also, only 1 or 2 80 gram options for a fairway. Weak sauce Cobra.

TM offers 11 70g no upcharge options and 2 80g+ no upcharge options. I'm sure Callaway isn't any better. So how exactly is Cobra lacking?

I don't even care about no-upcharge options. I mean 70 or 80 gram options period. I wanted a GD Tour ad TP 70x in my driver and a Tensei Blue 80x in a 3/4 fwy. Cobra can't accommodate and that's a miss considering they offer those shafts in lighter weighted options. They should offer ANY shaft and charge accordingly considering they have the access. Just my opinion.

Ok so they don't have the tour ad TP period. Every other GD they have... if money is no object to see a fitter and he can build u what u want. Your point is moot

As of now they don't on their site but 2 days ago the TP 6 was a $180 up charge. I only know because I contacted DD and asked what the upcharge was for the 7x and they stated they only offered the 6x.

Plus, why would I see a fitter when I know what I want?

Cobra adapters are only $29. If you already have the shafts you want to use, or need to get them somewhere else.

I tried the whole line up the other day, and it's easily one of the most impressive out there. The numbers are going to be hard to beat. I'm sure Cobra will have the lowest CG and highest MOI driver options on the market in 2017, just as they did for 2016.

I haven't hit the 2017 M1/M2 or Epic. But hit 917, 2016 M1/M2, G LS & F7+. Personally I avg +2 mph more ball speed with the G LS & F7+. So the Epic or 2017 M1/M2 will have to bring more ball speed to win out.

That said sound/feel I give the edge to F7+. Looks wise the F7+ looks square wise and more traditional

That's great to hear! It's great that Cobra is selling these at 2016 prices and I'm sure TM and Callaway will be at least $50-$100 more. With the money you save you can use it towards an upgraded shaft if needed.

Can you get any of those no up charge shafts in the FW?

I was very impressed with the F7+, very similar to my Ping G LS. The F7 compared to the G and was a little to spinny for me. Doubt I'd buy one since I love my G LS but it's definatly a good driver just not a big following but a driver people should try before dismissing.

How was it similar to your LS. Was it similarly fade bias? Thanks.

Numbers were par with one another for me. No significant difference either way. The sound/feel was probably the most noticeable, although since Hot melt, they too are pretty similar now. It's just a good club. I'm pretty neutral ball flight so yeah, ball flights were very similar.
