What iron's fit this description?

Help me narrow down a few irons that fit this description:

 

Forged, forgiving, low offset, smallish sole, thinish topline, compact appearance.

 

Thinking Mizzy MP25's but would love to hear others.

For forgiving I would include everything other than a straight up blade.

AP-2 is probably the most similar design to a MP25 IMO. I hit both last spring and preferred the AP-2. Sole is a little chunkier, but the MP25 is no butter knife anyways.

 

I've hated every slotted back Mizzy since the '54's and I still play a set of MP-60's pretty frequently.

 

Which one is the hollow Mizuno blade? The MP-5. Have you tried that one?

I had the AP2's and didn't like them so obv those are out. I play MP 69's right now but looking for something with a little more forgiveness without sacrificing too much in the looks and feel department.

All of those descriptions go hand in hand except "forgiving." You'll have to test out all the blades and player cavity irons to see which one you like best. For my money, I think this is the best constructed set that is currently available that fits your description:

 

7-PW: Srixon 965

4-6: Srixon 765

 

I may even go with 965 all throughout the set because they are so forgiving for blades. On your end, you may even want to go all 765s as they look like blades at address.

I think you're shopping for a unicorn. Forgiving and feel are never going to be congruent.

Im thinking Adams CB3 or Idea Tech V4 forged sans hybrids? Feel soft as anything and have a healthy cavity for forgiveness. Plus they can be had for song, hell I got an almost brand new set of XTD Forged for 180 the other day.

If you're coming from the MP69 and want something a little more forgiving I would think the MP-5 would be your best bet. Channel back and thicker blade for the forgiveness, but it will still give you that Mizuno feel you're looking for. Wouldn't be as forgiving as some of the player's cavity backs however.

Bridgestone j40 dpc or cb. Dpc is a bit more forgiving but a bit larger head. I have p-6 cb and 4,5 dpc. You really can on get them used these days, but I was lucky enough to snag a set nee this summer.

If you can play MP69 and looking for little more forgiveness, try MP-5 and Mp-64. both look compact and feels great with forgiveness

Assuming you want new clubs... I'd say the Mizuno MP-54 or maybe the 59. Based on your criteria "forgiving" will be the area you'll have to give up the most. But, even as a hacker, I've found that the MP's produce my best, most consistent shots, and they hit on all your wants and you can get either for <$500
