Although I'd never ever drop that type of coin on clubs, PXG's looks are growing on me.

A Masters, an Open Championship at St. Andrews, double digit tour wins, over $40 million in career earnings, and probably a spot in the Hall of Fame some day. Safe to say that putter works just fine, regardless of looks.

 

Also why I have just switched to a center shaft putter. I like the idea of the alignment being easier, and just bringing the putter straight back and thru.

Looks like he may have ditched his AP1 4 iron for the 0311XF. Also looks like he took out some of the weights on the toe of the driver. Maybe to help with the draw?

13 PXG clubs in the bag, is he the one with most PXG clubs in the bag among PXG players? Or is there one with 14 clubs? PXG does make putter.

Is the hybrid supposed to be a 3 iron replacement at 19*? Unless the loft is adjusted higher, I don't see why a 18* 5 wood is needed.

Well the lofts could be adjusted but that's not necessary to get a good distance gap between the two clubs. Hard to tell exactly but based on how they sit in the bag, looks like he's playing it shorter than what you might see in most stock 19* hybrids and there is likely enough of a difference in playing length between the hybrid and 5wd to give the desired distance gaping.

Surprised that I have not seen Billy Horschel tweeting about this. He seems to tweet or retweet anything which even remotely touches being about PXG. The fact that after a year of he, and they, telling us that they are the best clubs around, they have finally been able to get one of their marquee players using (pretty much) a full bag of PXG's should be an achievement. Of course, that it takes a year to get some clubs to fit might tell you something else.

I would have never thought to put lead tape there on the putter. Brilliant location.

 

I love my FGP, but the thing always feels light which is why I just switched to something different.
