I'd say you have to look at Jack Phil or Spieth to even get close. Jack probably has similar stats. But maybe short. I guess if you want to go all the way back to the greatest am (,Jones)then maybe he has the best? Of modern players Spieth has 2 us junior ams I know and an NCAA. I don't know if any of the modern us am winners are multiple winners much less any who have a junior and a regular us am. Phil probably the other guy who's closest . But I guess debatable if he's " modern enough " to say he's if.

 

For me the fact that Tiger won 3 US Junior Ams in a row and then followed that up with 3 straight US Ams is pretty hallowed ground.

 

Yep. I agree. Don't have time to look up everyone's stats now. But I'd be shocked if even jack were close to that.

 

i dont think Jack played any US junior ams as they were just created while in his teens.I think the only notables from that era who played and won those are maybe johnny Miller? Gay brewer?

He did win 2 Ams a western am Ncaa individual, eisenhower trophy and so on.

i think tiger can do whatever the f he wants minus get into WGCs w/o high enough ranking.... he has a lifetime tour card, and i bet major invites until he doesn't want to play anymore (other than master which he is also invited for life).

The wife asks, "Are you calling room service?"

"No! I'm calling Tiger Woods, to find out what the par is for this damn hole."
