What putter do you use and love? and why?

I alternate between two Kevin Burns classics: an all carbon 9306 and a 9300 with hidden copper insert. Both are loved equally.

That said, I have been fantasizing about a Ping Voss.

I can't get away from my Odyssey 9. I have changed to a black shaft and a custom salty grip.

I would not have thought it would be the one it is and as a matter of fact a year ago if put into a lineup of 10 models it would have been near the bottom (if not last) of my picks but once you find it...you know...

Odyssey Two Ball SRT slightly modified into a Arm Lock putter by placing a ARM-Lock AL-2 grip on it.

It only took 25 years to find..."The One"

Ever since switching to the face-balanced BB-40 mallet, I have been sinking many more putts. Love this thing. Never thought I would move away from a blade, I still find them to be more attractive, but I cant argue with results. I love the honeycomb milling and the finish used on the putter, the green grip is a little strange but I dont want to change it now that I can't miss, haha.

Mostly PING clubs, with TaylorMade woods.

Scotty Cameron Studio Style Newport. I've had it in the bag for 11 years now and nothing has managed to kick it out. I love the weighting and the insert works well with the higher compression balls I use. Tried the newer Studio Select putters and just can't get the same performance out of them.

For me it WAS a Scotty Newport Oval track that I just had refinished. Completely happy for the first time ever with a Cameron putter, then I had to buy a JD Spider Tour, and now the Cameron needs a new home because that Spider is amazing. 6-8 footers are now a "gimme", and long putts, it just seems to roll within 3-4" automagically.

Last summer I purchased a Toulon (before the Callaway acquisition) Madison. I was initially drawn to it because I am a resident of Madison, WI, but since I put it in the bag my game has improved. It was the first putter I ever did a fitting with, and I think that adds to the performance, but I have way more confidence standing over putts now that I ever have.

Byron Morgan 007, 350g, Carbon Steel, Oil Can Finish

Custom ordered this putter directly from the man himself just after the 007 line came out several (5?) years ago. Honestly if money were no option I would replace it with a custom DH89 but I can't justify that kind of expenditure when this putter looks, feels and performs as well as it does.

Scotty Cameron Studio stainless Newport 2.5 from 2004 if i'm not mistaken. It has great feel and rolls great! I just refinished one and I absolutely love it. I keep a few backup Odyssey and Bettinardi's depending on the greens I will be playing that week.

Same here except mine was a Scotty Cameron Studio Stainless Newport 2 from 2004. I wish I would have never gotten rid of that putter. Thankfully I sold it to a friend and I can hopefully pry it back away from him at some point.

SC Circa 62 #3 w/Flatso 3.0 Was my first Scotty and bought it because I liked the raised toe. Little did I know that after adjusting to proper length and lie that this would be an amazing putter. However, I wanted to preserve the charcoal finish so I benched it for Studio Stainless NP2 which was as close as good as I could find...until recently. Now I game the C&C 6M and my putting stroke is effortless.

Okay I'll take the WRXer putter hoe bait. Why replace, why not both??? ?

Touche...

That said, I'm not one to have more than one of anything in the bag or at the house. When I bought my Miura wedges, I immediately sold the Cleveland ones they replaced. Same thing w/ my driver. Only thing I have held on to are my original Callaway X-Tours that were shelved when I got my Mizuno MP-53's a couple years ago. In the end, if (when) I get the DH89 (and so long as I prefer it) there will be a sweet Byron 007 for sale...

Ping my day, paid about 20 bucks for it. It is a mag bronze one from the 90s and I have 2 strips of lead tape on the bottom. I put a new ping man grip on it every couple of years. It putts the best out of all my putters.

I have never been fortunate enough to fall in love with a putter. Maybe one day I will find my rollmate. One day...
