What putter do you use and love? and why?

In my bag at home I have a Toulon San Francisco, MR counterbalanced, in my bag I keep at work I have a Cameron and Crown Newport M2. I love them both but the M2 just beats out the San Fran. I roll it better and just feel so much more confident with it. ( I work 6 weeks on 6 weeks off hence having two bags).

Really liking the Cleveland TFI Halo w superstroke 3.0.....Claw Grip w this mallet just feels pure

For me it's an old ping anser 4 with a ping man grip. Have had several through the years, they just look and feel right to me.

 

This one is maybe 35 ½ inches long and the wieght is just right.

Scotty Newport 2 Studio Select Circle T, 35 inches, 350 grams, just love it and how beat up it is.

Scotty Cameron Newport is my all time favorite. I just simply love the model and have 7 through out the years at home. I have the Cameron & Crown in the Newport limited coming to me and I cant wait.

Well I have played a few , achshnet Bullseye, ping anser 2,

Ping pal 4, Cameron Laguna 2 pro platinum and a studio select.

My best rounds were bullseye era about 25 years ago.

I just purchased a Byron Morgan custom DH89

Played my first round yesterday, 79 no 3 putts and no doubles.

Hope it wasn't a fluke lol.

It rolls really nice and accurate from 8ft in.

Seemore M1 and I do love it. Alignment is automatic and I love the weight for my tempo with the putter.

I feel like I always put a good roll on it. Always trying something different but nothing outperforms the seemore.

I second a vote for Seemore! I have the FGPt Giant with a Rosemark putter grip... Love it! The rifle scope alignment takes the guess work out of aiming, provides a consistent setup which provides confidence.

I have two that I love and they periodically get switched.

One is a Rife Iconic One. It's a Newport style blade in a flat black finish. It's gorgeous.

The other is an Odyssey Versa V-Line.

They both have 3 strips of lead tape 3 inches long on the bottom.

For the past year I gamed a Cameron X7M.

I had toyed with the thought of sending it off to Tom Slighter to add a plumbers next and blackout the head.

I bought a Machine M2A Converter to use while Cameron is getting it's facelift.

The Machine seems to have won over the starter position!!

Those Agressive face milling seems to give me a better role!?

But, time will tell.

For now Cameron is in closet.....holding off on doing the work.

Scotty Newport oil can 34" full cord grip.

I live by the sea and the salt air has corroded the finish over the years until I have something unique to me and still feels like an extension of my arms when I hit a putt.

It will pulled out of my cold dead fingers when the put the screws into the coffin top

I never shy away from trying a new flatstick, but this Machine is in my bag 90% of the time. I went through a fitting at Machine in 2015 with Mr. Billings and had this built based on the specifications.

Bettinardi BB25 -- my old man gave it to me, brought it into Studio B when buying another stick one day. They regripped it for me and punched my initials in the back on the house. Ended up falling back in love with it and keeping the other putter as a backup.

I bought it a few years ago for $40, and it has been so good to me. The face sits so square and at time it feels as if anything inside 10ft is gonna be exactly the line that i want. Just goes to show you that it doesn't take hundreds of dollars to get the roll that you want.

I am infatuated with the head shape of the Del Mar 3.5 and Odyseey's #9's, but I never putt well with them. I keep a Ping Anser around to remind myself what I need to be using. I've been a huge fan of the TR1966 model I'm gaming now. A few of my playing partners call it the golden gun because its so deadly sometimes.

I currently play an Asian Spec SC Circa 62 #3 and it will stay in my bag for sometime to come. I've been through almost 10 putters (all makes/models/steel) in the past 2 years and this putter fit everything Im looking for in a putter.

 

Carbon, 350 grams, PN and the toe up design fits my eye. I love how soft the ball feels coming off the putter face. It'll be awhile before I change this putter.

I have a Callaway Odyssey O-Works Tank #7 counter-balanced putter.

 

The putter has great feel, weight and balance, and it's very stable. It looks good too.

I just rolled my 2016 Scotty M1 mallet yesterday for the 1st time. Played 18 and missed a ton of putts to the right. This putter is aesthetically beautiful and the feel is absolutely the best ive ever used. I think a blade is better suited for my swing though. Looks like im off to the classifieds with the M1. Only 1 round on it. Im sad to see it go, just from a beauty standpoint. someone is going to get a great deal.

My go to lover is the Scotty TeI3 Sole Stamp Newport. I recently sent her to the custom shop and added a sight dot to the topline. She rolls true and sound is bliss.

I have 20 or more putters. I buy putters and continue to rotate, looking for the magic stick. And then I finally bought my first Scotty. (GoLo5 Dualbalance) I have always wanted one but never wanted to come off the money. Now that I have I can't believe I did not do it sooner. I will NEVER pull it out of the bag.

Byron Morgan 007, 350g, Carbon Steel, Oil Can Finish

 

Custom ordered this putter directly from the man himself just after the 007 line came out several (5?) years ago. Honestly if money were no option I would replace it with a custom DH89 but I can't justify that kind of expenditure when this putter looks, feels and performs as well as it does.

 

Okay I'll take the WRXer putter hoe bait. Why replace, why not both??? ��

That said, I'm not one to have more than one of anything in the bag or at the house. When I bought my Miura wedges, I immediately sold the Cleveland ones they replaced. Same thing w/ my driver. Only thing I have held on to are my original Callaway X-Tours that were shelved when I got my Mizuno MP-53's a couple years ago. In the end, if (when) I get the DH89 (and so long as I prefer it) there will be a sweet Byron 007 for sale...

 

Welll, if that happens, shoot me a PM offering up that 007 first bc I've been dreaming about getting my hands on one ;)
